With the show revolving around a cookie cutter post-2014 Brock Lesnar title reign, and Riddle being a heavily featured presence, I can honestly say that this is the absolute least interested in watching RAW I've ever been in my life.
I had mostly been apathetic, but would at least keep up through this forum, Wrestling with Wregret, or the abridged matches on the Youtube channel. Now, I outright dislike the product and have no desire to even follow the product in passing (I know it's ironic that I've chosen to make this post on a forum about the product I'm claiming not to follow, but I'm bored at work and that hype video just cringed me so hard I had to comment on it).

Salvage that awful tag team match from last week somehow by giving the gals something worthwhile to do, please.

Will badass Amazon Rhea get beaten up by tiny Nikki again (because you suddenly gain like 70% more competence when you turn heel in WWE)?

Love how the preview FOR THE ROYAL RUMBLE mentions everything but THE ROYAL RUMBLE!
Really hope this crowd shits on this weigh in......your go home show and you give the crowd a f***ing weigh in...is that Vince's lotion bottle I horrifyingly hear in the distance.

That preview really cements what WWE want you to watch the show for.
It isn't wrestling.
It's purely for the soap opera. Every line is about a different beat of the story, it isnt advertising any actual matches or physicality.
Just the segments between the filler, where the filler is a random 3 minute match.

That would be fine, honestly, if any of the stories being told were coherent or had any semblance of a ramification on the overall world of the “WWE Universe” soap opera. But they never do. WWE is basically just an extended Michael Cole/Corey Graves reaction video at this point. “Moments” are cool, but, for me, “moments” for “moments’” sake has really lost its luster.

Man, the Rumbl is this Sunday and it just feels like nothing. It's always been the event I looked forward to most. And now there’s a pretty good chance I won’t watch a second of it.

This feels like the very definition of a show that is only occurring because it is contractually obligated to air. 80% of this feels like it could be a clip show and I wouldn't even notice.

This godawful show was supposed to take place in my hometown at first. It’s been postponed until September. With the benefit of hindsight, it looks like I caught the biggest break of my life. Where’s the show taking place? Anything or anyone significant ever happen come from that town?

Problem is, it ain’t even a GOOD soap opera. Like Dynasty is 20 times better than this and that’s on the CW for goodness sake.

Seriously though, I find the description absolutely fascinating.
The weigh in at least is sports related, but three sentences are dedicated to a birthday party, and the other three are for an academic challenge. I can't wait for Otis to surprise everyone because he knows things he obviously shouldn't, shocking even Gable, who will bulge his eyes out and look around the crowd in a gasp showing everyone how shocked he is by Otis' smarts. Meanwhile, Riddle will be "inebriated", frustrating Randy Orton who will look on his partner with the disdain of a Dad looking at his dumb kid who's not prepared. All the while Riddle will have a huge smile, half closed eyes, and saying things like "uhhh....yeahhh...uhhh". The swerve will be, RIDDLE ALSO KNOWS THINGS.

If Yokozuna was still here, he would rather watch 1000 lb. Sisters on Monday nights. He would probably relate more to that show than the 2022 WWE product.

There's honestly a massive (pun very much intended) chance that Yoko would have ended up on My 600 lb Life or something if he had stayed alive into the reality TV era. And the rate things are going, Tammy and Amy are as likely as anyone else to be surprise entrants in the Rumble match. Could you imagine Tammy in the Rumble?
