Apart from all thirty participants entering the match before there's an elimination (which would be awful but interesting), I just want a legit shocking winner. A winner that no one saw coming in a million years. Like, Greece Euro 2004 levels of shocking. Imagine if someone like Dominik Mysterio won the Rumble, for example. I think it'd get a huge pop and might make him a star. They should have done that with Santino Marella in 2011. I mean, if Alberto Del Rio was just gonna lose in the opening match anyway, why not give it to Santino?

A wrestler earns two spots in the rumble, gets dumped out and walks to the back to wait for his second chance spot which is the next entrant out thus he would have to come back out again right away! The thing I don't like about this, and didn't like about Mick Foley entering as 3 different characters, is... what if he doesn't get eliminated? What if a guy gets #8 and #10, but when it's time for #10 he hasn't been thrown out? Does no one enter at #10? Is he obligated to throw himself out so he can re-enter? And did Foley really pick 3 numbers because he knew he would be thrown out at some point? Twice? Where's the confidence? Normal dude: "I'm going to outlast 29 other men!" Foley: "I'm hoping by the time I enter there will be 5 or 6 men already gone. Then I'm going to outlast 4 more before I get tossed. Then I get to take a breather while another 3 are eliminated. Then I'll come back in and outlast another 5. Then I'll take another break while 4 more drop out. Then I can come back one more time, and I hope I can maybe outlast the remaining 6, I guess. Yay me!"

There are two people fighting in the ring before number 30 enters. With just 10 seconds left on when the two guys have eliminated each other. And then number 30 comes and has just won the rumble without having been in it. Of course, it would be a heel and would be booed like never before as he gets on the mike talks about how he outlasted 29 other guys to win. Yeah it would never happen but, it would be fun to see. This would be the perfect way for MJF to debut.

I always wondered if it could work with a face, and if the countdown and reveal to the 30th entrant could be satisfying enough to work.

A real undercard guy winning it.
I’d love Cameron Grimes to debut in the Rumble go on a crazy underdog run and win the whole damn thing.
He can get goated into having his main event at elimination chamber. He almost gets the win on Roman, until Uso bullshit.
Seth makes fun of him for being such a loser, setting up a match at mania which he wins. Showing he belongs.

There is nothing I'd love more than the spot Milkman Norm mentioned in the other thread - someone casually sliding out of the ring and knocking Kofi on his arse halfway through one of his overplayed escape spots.

I don’t think the promotion/fan relationship is in a strong enough place right now (or for the next… I don’t know, when’s the heat death of the universe scheduled for?) for that to happen effectively. You either have a babyface win it like that, and the reaction would be that they absolutely fluked into the win and didn’t work for it, thus they don’t deserve it. See the reaction when babyfaces enter last in gauntlet matches. Or you have a heel win it like that, and it’s one of the most miserable things to ever happen in wrestling. And either way, you’ve thrown away one of your showpiece matches of the entire year and kneecapped the build for one of your other showpiece matches of the entire year for something that was never going to work. I never understood why so many people act like this would be a great idea. It sounds exactly like the type of thing everyone would complain about if it actually happened.

When Zach Gowen was there have him come down to the ring and enter with his prosthetic leg, which he removes and places it in the corner. Late in the match he gets tossed out, but Gowen gloats that only one foot touched the floor. The person who tossed him grabs his prosthetic leg and tosses it over the top rope in front of him and he’s finally declared out of the rumble. I have always talked about this & how it never happened when Zach Gowen was in the company.

Mysterio and Kalisto came out to each others mask to throw off the field.

Back when Braun Strowman was being heavily pushed.. They should have had him enter at Entry 30 with 10-12 Guys still in the ring. He begins to lift the ring with everyone falling over the Top Rope.

Not really a spot but a rule change in id like to see pins and submissions in the rumble,i have no idea why but the idea amuses me with refs having to run around all over the place making counts! A wrestler earns two spots in the rumble, gets dumped out and walks to the back to wait for his second chance spot which is the next entrant out thus he would have to come back out again right away! The Ranbo and Aztec Warfare does that

I'd like to see somebody get thrown over the top but their feet never hit the floor. They would do some wild move to get back in the ring. I don't think they've done that spot before.

You're honestly thinking way too hard about this. You can accept the same person being allowed three different entries into the match but are drawing the line at when they're eliminated?

I want the Spike Dudley throw into the crowd spot. Honestly. WWE would just need four guys from the PC to sit front row, catch a guy like Reggie or Kofi, and help them stay in the match. It's a good idea!
