Not that I wouldn't mark for him because he's that damn good, but I can totally see the amount of people who will try and undermine this because he's not a name, which is ironic because it it was a name the same trolls would be like "ANOTHER EX WWE DUDE LOL", such is life If it's him, the Brandi Rhodes comments are also even stupider, like way to ruin your own surprise for no reason. Josh could also just be liking these tweets to troll too.

I wonder if they’ll announce a women’s match soon?

I'm glad they've decided to do the Jurassic Express vs. Gunn Club AEW Tag Team Championship match on "Rampage" instead of trying to build it up for "Revolution" because it would have easily been the weakest pay per view tag team title match they've ever done.

Like, putting aside the quick loss to Moose after winning the world title (which, I didn’t say this at the time, really takes away from the argument about the AEW/IMPACT relationship not doing much if THAT was the intended payoff), it feels like they’d want him to be the future of the company and win that title back at some point. But then I don’t watch Impact enough to know of his status so…

Morrissey match. Alexander went on to issue an open challenge, which brought out Big Kon. Alexander immediately got Kon into an ankle lock and Kon tapped. Security had to pull Alexander off Kon. Scott D’Amore eventually came down and got pushed by Alexander. D’Amore asked him what he wants, and Alexander said he wants the Impact Title around his waist and to be the face of the company, and added that if he doesn’t get his title shot, he will be the hottest free agent in wrestling. D’Amore responded by pulling Alexander from his No Surrender match and sending him home.

I mean, that feels way too convenient to not lead him to be back in the title picture but still. Oh…

Somebody pointed out on Twitter when discussing the possibility of Keith Lee: is it really “walking through The Forbidden Door” if they’re a free agent?

the whole "slamming the door in their former employer's face" makes me really think it's BROTHA NERO. There have been cases of people getting out of their 90 Days by saying "I don't want to get paid. You guys are cost cutting right? I don't want the money." and there is also precedent of TK buying people out of their previous contracts (Thunder Rosa/NWA).

I can see your logic but also the first Hardy Boys booking on the indies is not until March but as well as that, considering what’s been said by all involved, I can’t really see him going from one touring show to another. Like, I think some of that stuff would be immediate if it was.

I mean, I’m not ruling out the possibility but I think something would have come out by now if he didn’t take the 90 days. He’s too big a name and it was too big of a story for that.

Only two matches announced for this show so far
Unless Hangman/Archer is going an hour, I imagine we're getting another match or two announced tonight and tomorrow...

Across two shows, they've announced four matches, two of which feature unknown quantities.
This is really, really weird for AEW, and the weirdness makes it somewhat exciting, but I'm not fully sold that there isn't going to be a very dumb reason for it.
