Its crazy how many big moments they've had in such a short amount of time. Really made me fall back in love with wrestling again. I'm another this applies to. I've spent much of weekend watching GCW and TJPW, couldn't get two more different approaches to wrestling but aew was my gateway to both.

Anything other than The Acclaimed's entrance vs. Mox & Kingston and Bowen's "A-E-WWWWWugggh" is wrong.

Like, in all seriousness, Punk’s return is still something I really can’t wrap my head around.
It’s incomparable to anything in wrestling, anything in sports, anything in media. It’s so mind-boggling that it worked out how it did that it almost doesn’t make sense. It’s really hard to not have it No 1 for me.
2 would be Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole’s debuts because of how crazy it was to have them show up in the same segment on the same night and basically stamp your intentions further and capping off an insane month for the company.
3 is Hangman Page winning the title since, well, it was a cap to a two year story (arguably longer if you’re counting ROH and NJPW) that basically put their first guy on the top of the pedestal
4 is Moxley’s debut, DoN 2019 fights with All Out 2021 as the best show in company history but there was something really significant about Moxley showing up, even as expected as it was and basically making himself a bigger name in one night than 95% of his WWE run and setting up a match against Omega that was, in my mind, their best match together (even though I thought the barbwire match was a load of fun hampered by the bad ending and some people are stupidly harsh because of it, sorry not sorry)
5 is going to be a controversial one for some but Cody/Dustin at DoN 2019 is one of those matches that did a lot of things. It brought a lot of Cody’s mindset of how “his” matches would be structured, it showed that Dustin Rhodes is somehow better now than he was in his prime and is arguably one of the most important signings in company history and the match itself was this old school, brutal, emotionally charged match that sort of solidified AEW as having more variety than most promotions that have come before it to compete with WWE.
I’ll stick with Top 5 but if I did a Top 10, Rosa/Baker Lights Out, the Dark Order/Elite entrances, Omega turning heel, Christian Cage beating Omega for the Impact World title and screw it, Shaq/Jade vs. Cody/Velvet would be there because f***, that match should have bombed and it didn’t so Damnit, it’s on my list.

Everyone has posted some good lists so far. The First Dance has to be AEW’s greatest moment.
A personal favorite of mine is MJF whipping Cody on Dynamite. My girlfriend, who had literally never seen wrestling before moving in with me, loved it. She just couldn’t believe what she was watching. Will always hold a special place with me.

The ten lashes is one of the most compelling wrestling segments I've ever seen. Perfectly executed by everyone.

I'm not sure but Moxley's debut is definitely in the top 3. He, Punk and Bryan debuting for AEW has done more for the brand and hell, professional wrestling in general than any other moment AEW's had so far.
Like, that's like the Outsiders and Hogan showing up.

Punk debut Moxley debut Cole & Bryan debut Brodie Lee and Dark Order beat down of Cody & Nightmare Family Hangman wins the World Title
Brodie Lee Tribute would probably be just behind this but I’d rather his top 5 moment be a more positive one.

Did you put malakai black debut twice on purpose or accident?

1. Punk returns to wrestling 2. Mox debuts 3. Omega vs. Danielson at Dynamite Grand Slam 4. Jericho vs. Mox at Revolution 5. Hangman wins the big one
If I was to do a top ten, that's when some of the other debuts come in. I think the Brody tribute show was really good but I also feel weird considering it an AEW "moment," per say.
Mox gets more love in my top moments because he was the first real *big* star to make the jump who wasn't there when the company started. Mox vs. Jericho also felt like the company's first torch-passing moment.
Omega/Danielson from Grand Slam was the company's first like "epic" television match. We've seen more than a few since then with Hangman/Danielson and most recently Punk/MJF, but Omega/Danielson was the first.

Man, I almost feel like this needs a "besides Punk's debut" qualifier, because it would arguably be impossible for any wrestling company to top that.
There just isn't anything in wrestling that was that anticipated and in-demand, besides maybe Sting vs. Taker, and that ship has sailed.

This sums up my top 5 moments for the company. CM Punk's return to wrestling is an obvious #1 not only because of how truly special that moment was & what it meant, but also because of the amount of buzz it created. The amount of attention it garnered cannot be understated enough.
