It's been two years now since his return. How would you grade it?
Have you felt underwhelmed? He's exactly where he should be? Or he's actually exceeded your expectations?
Here's a summary of all his matches:
Royal Rumble 2020 Randy Orton (Wrestlemania 36) Randy Orton (Backlash) Royal Rumble 2021 (Winner) Randy Orton (Raw) Jey Uso (Smackdown) Roman Reigns/Daniel Bryan (Wrestlemania 37) Jey/Jimmy/Roman (Smackdown 6 Man Tag) Roman Reigns (Money in the Bank) Seth Rollins (Summerslam) Seth Rollins (Smackdown) Seth Rollins (Crown Jewel) Kevin Owens (MSG House Show) The Miz (Day 1) The Miz/Maryse (Royal Rumble)

Honestly it’s been great. Hasn’t really missed L, hasn’t overstayed his welcome and it feels like there a lot more he could do.

Gotta give it an A-.
Hasn’t been around often enough to warrant an A plus, but when he’s around, he’s special and doesn’t wear out his welcome. All of his matches are Amongst the best of the years and is probably still the best promo in the business outside CM Punk when he isn’t fighting WWE being in his head rent free (even though it’s warranted.)

It's hard to think of a better run than this for Edge. When he wrestles it's seen as a special attraction as he doesn't wrestle much. He's got great opponents, the matches are usually pretty good, his promos are fire, his character is dope, segments on point, like, this is what you do for someone like Edge.

Has had great matches, still an awesome promo, and I got to see his entrance live. Can't complain!

I'd rate it at "Pretty Solid". I think there are points that could have been better, but for the most part, he's been good and generally used well.

A+ overall. I mean I don't see what more he could done better at this point. His promos have been great. His hasn't had bad match this whole run. For all the legends and ext WWE brings in, he been by far the best and the one I want to see because I know I'm getting something good.
He clearly had a lot of passion for wrestling and not just "collecting the paycheck" Which you can tell with others. When you sit here and go I want to see this guy face so and so. Rather than "Oh god he coming back." Than clearly your doing something right.

Outside of unfortunate injuries and that awful slog of a Mania match with Orton, it's been great

There have been times where it kind of became a bit of an exercise in smelling one’s own farts (the Orton WrestleMania match, the Brood black gakkings), but in general dude’s been putting in strong work. The in-ring stuff matches up well to the best stuff of his initial run.

I’ve never been a huge Edge fan. Not to a “Edge suxxxx SO overrated” crazy level, but on my list of all-time greats/favorites, he does not appear. So his current run being adequate means he hasn’t lost a step in my eyes.

The Rollins feud has been his best work outside of the two Rumbles. The feud with Orton started hot & dragged a bit. His reactions & quasi-heel thing with Reigns & eventually Daniel Bryan made him seem like the third wheel in that program. The Miz feud started great, but was more exciting for Beth Phoenix than him.
He's an incredible talent, but their booking has made him seem like another guy on the roster at times. He's still one of the best reasons to watch, but he deserves better treatment.

I feel like his story came to a close with the Rollins feud. They need to be careful using him otherwise it's diminishing returns.

Overall great. I was never a fan of babyface Edge and thought the shine would wear off after a few months and he'd be forced to turn heel but he's still getting massive pops two years later.
The two things I wasn't a fan of were the Orton Wrestlemania match and winning the Rumble from number one. I had no problem with him winning but there was no need to have him go the distance. That should be like a freak occurrence but they overuse it to the point that I always expect number 1 and/or 2 to go a long way now.
In hindsight he probably should have won the title at Wrestlemania last year and dropped it back to Roman at MITB. It gives us a break from Roman as champ for a few months and Edge has just been so over since returning. It's not even a nostalgia/thank you run thing at this point. He's legit performing at a level that warrants a world title run. His feud with Seth was probably the best in the company last year.

I was never a huge Edgehead, but I’ve enjoyed his work since he return greatly
I’d like to see take a while off after WM to find his next big feud around SummerSlam.

That reminds me, wasn't he originally signed for a three year deal? I guess we have a year and a bit left?

Edge's contribution and what he's brought since returning - A WWE's contribution and what they've brought for him - B-/C+ {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}yes I'm still salty that ten years to the day Edge announced his retirement and vacated his world title that the story they used was "lol roman stack em up lol cool heel misery booking shit"
