Kronik. Adams was better as a tag guy and he'd found a partner he had some degree of chemistry with, got a look that worked for him and he could just kick butts without anyone expecting him to cut promos.
Shame about the match they had with Kane and Taker in his 'man made of sandbags' phase. Actually Adams was the primary talker in that team. Anytime they did a promo he would do pretty much all the talking while Clark rarely said anything which really speaks volumes to his promo skills or lack there of that they thought Brian Adams was better suited to being a mouth piece then him. On the subject of Kronik does anyone get what was up with all the pot references? Like it would be one thing if they acted like RVD or Matt Riddle but there was nothing about them or their act that made them come off like stoners in the slightest way. They were just two big jacked up guys who beat people up and just kind of a straight forward powerhouse team. At least until they made them blatant APA ripoffs.

I personally liked Everything I Do (I Do For You), but Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman was underrated. Summer of 69 was a banger too. Somebody was awesome, too!!

Vince Russo really wanted a druggie tag team, both because he found it funny and as a way to stick it to the network suits/censors that kept restricting his ideas. Around the same time, Bryan Adams' career was going nowhere and Brian Clark was just returning from ACL surgery. Adams approached Clark and asked if he wanted to try teaming up. Clark agreed, so the two of them went to Russo with the idea of being a team. Since making sense is not part of Russo's writing style, he just stuck his stoner tag team idea on the two jacked up hyper-intense guys and called it a day. tl;dr: Because Vince Russo

Kona Crush all day.
In every other incarnation of his, it was always so boring as a heel. He was a much better babyface and he never really got to be a babyface all that much except for when Kronik was babyface.

These are all great gimmicks, but I guess like most people I just love 'evil foreign sympathizer' types.

tl;dr: Because Vince Russo That's what made it more perplexing to me. Stoners are real laid back and mellow. Two jacked up super intense muscle heads who enjoy beating the crap out of people is the total opposite of that.

The more I think about this, there should be an option for "none." The guy had 9 different gimmick incarnations and outside of like 1 1/2 to 2 full years out of 11 he made somewhat of an impact with the crowd. If he were with today's WWE and was one of the many releases I think board members wouldn't find issue with said release.
