The problem is they're all based around celebrities and lazy part timers like Brock, Ronda and Goldberg because WWE's writing team are too inept to create new stars.
The only credible "full timers" are Roman, Charlotte and Becky.

It doesn’t help that their boss is older than C Mountgomery Burns and can’t plan for the future.
Eventually, this way of thinking will bite them in the behind. They built for the future in the Attitude Era and it helped. They can learn something.

The problem is that wrestle mania which was once the stand out event of the year is now just another event.

Man, you think it’s bad at your age? Imagine growing up and tuning in on Saturday morning and getting pumped because they just announced Mr Perfect vs Brutus the Barber. I’d still rather see that than the shit they book now. Perfect is dead and Beefcake is a fat old man who can barely walk.

Once they started caring only about the top guys, it screwed things up. Now if you’re into the main events you’re pretty much screwed. Pick any random wrestler you like in the midcard and they’re not likely to have a well booked feud on the show.
Wrestlemania III is a great example of how it used to be done. This was when every match wasn’t a big feud on the show, and yet they’d built up multiple matches for months. On top of the main event you had: an IC title blood feud built for months, a hair match built for months, a six man tag built on a heel ref that had started nearly a year earlier. Some matches like Roberts/HTM only had one real angle for it, but it was a good one.
