A Spielberg fix? Does that mean one of the people in the ring will be replaced by Michael J. Fox and another person replaced by Brie Larson? Nah, it just means that Ronda and Charlotte will now have walkie-talkies for some reason.

Won't be a problem, how many things as Kevin Dunn missed cutting unnecessarily to the crowd, this will just look normal once on TV

So WWE spoiled their own show? They’ve pretty much always done that, especially back when Smackdown was taped. Little known (I think) fact, but Mankind’s first title win was taped the week prior and WWF’s website posted the spoilers well before Nitro ever spoiled the result. They last did it when AJ Styles defeated Jinder Mahal for the WWE Title in the UK prior to Survivor Series. The spoilers are out there, so it's better for them to spoil it themselves before the internet does. I don't mind reading spoilers. I always equate it to this. When you go on a road trip, you already know your destination. The fun part is the trip getting there. So, even though I know the results, the fun part is the match getting there which could look different on TV then if you read a spoiler report online.

That Rousey/Flair clip was *so* close to working out too.
If there were just a touch more effort shown on Rousey's part, it'd have looked like she was able to overpower Flair.

I'm going to skip this show because it just doesn't sound interesting at all, but I'm glad Sami won the IC Title. Hopefuly they actually let him defend it.

3 matches in a two hour show, and one of them is Jimmy Uso vs Ivar
This show is a f***ing trainwreck lately.

Sami wins the IC Title, and is feuding with the celebrity for Mania?
Legit, dude wouldn't be in a better spot if he signed with AEW. So continues to prove smart for him to stay in WWE.

All I'm saying is, putting on three matches total for what is essentially a go home show to a PPV, when Rampage puts on four matches in an hour plus promos and segments, is absolutely inexcusable for WWE to be THIS lax with their cards. Two out of the three matches feel like they won't go past five minutes. It feels like they can't fill two hours of time anymore let alone three, and I guess when you make the Blue Brand entirely about Roman Reigns for what is going on two years running, that's what's going to happen. The brand's star power has stagnated to the point we're still throwing Goldberg out there in 2022. It doesn't have to be, but given what they're doing with Big E and McIntyre right now? That's just what they blatantly choose to do, and it's making for a really f***ing terrible show, because nothing is progressing, everything's been stuck in the mud, spinning its wheels, for what feels like months to years now. It's getting overwhelmingly tedious.
Them not caring about wrestling on their wrestling show is feeling very apparent these days...

WWE probably went “it’s a taped show when most of our talent is off to Saudi Arabia, so screw or.”
Do I like that, no. But that’s probably what it is.

Makes sense to have a few matches and a bunch of hype videos. Similar to the go-home Smackdowns right before Mania used to always be.

I get hype promos, I get promo build, but this has been an ongoing issue for the past few weeks, this isn't just this show, it's been a mounting struggle for Smackdown to have consistent wrestling on the program. This upcoming show doesn't even have a women's match which I think is pretty shit. I get your main women are in a contract signing but this just is an indictment on how flat and stagnant the division really is. It being a taped show gives them even less of an excuse to not have more on this show than there is, it feels hollow, not helped by the fact the feuds going into the chamber just aren't great to begin with either.

I mean the PPV card in Saudi of all places has 3 women’s matches on it. Doesnt seem to be a huge issue as we head toward Mania.

Sami being IC Champion and Ricochet beating Sheamus are the only good parts of the show. Sami's been one of the best IC Champions we've had this past decade if we're talking character work. I can't tell you about his defenses and matches but that actual character? Man that's fire. He had Cesaro and Nakamura as homies of his as he was just cutting entertaining promos. Sami's character work has come a long way. Still this ain't enough for me to watch the show, I'll just catch the clips.
And I'm sure that Ricochet moment is going to be seen as a fluke win where dude runs outta the ring laughing and Sheamus is looking at the ref like "omg you gotta be kidding me" because that's how they always play these things.
Don't even get me started with that Ronda/Charlotte thing. Both those women ain't been doing it for me for a long while. They're stinking up this joint.

Gotta love how Sami, who refuses to go to the Saudi shows, gets the IC title right before the next Saudi show.
Just goes to show how much they like and respect him.

The Triple Threat ladder match with Jeff and AJ was absolutely terrific. Also made Sami the single smartest character in at least a decade.

He can go in the ring, he can cut amazing promos, he can get fans behind him, he can get fans against him, he can be a pure underdog babyface, he can be a super dastardly heel. A guy like that's one of your cornerstones. He's just amazing.

We’re just one step closer to IC Champion Johnny Knoxville. Since the WWE doesn't like celebrities losing, they could make it a multi-man latter match or a triple threat with Nakamura, so Knoxville doesn't have to eat a pin. I doubt Knoxville cares if he wins, though. He is probably more than willing to lose a Mania match.

Well, hopefully, the Sami versus Nakamura match was great, at least.

The final women's segment (charlotte/sonia/ronda/naomi) isn't helped that none of this has been explained. They're mad at each other, but why? Has it ever been explained what the issue between sonia and naomi is? Ronda shows up, and suddenly she's feuding with charlotte (I guess it's just "you have the title, I want the title, so now we're mad at each other"?), and so charlotte and sonia, who have had no interaction with each other before this, and ronda and naomi, who have had nothing to do with each other, will team together for some reason (I know it's to throw the two feuds together to make a match, but what is their character's reason within the show to want to have this match?). It's like they are just making feuds and matches, but forgot to explain it to the audience
