I don’t know what people were expecting. Roman needed to finally beat Lesnar at mania. It was going to be a finshier spam like all their other matches. The crowd was into it. So that helped. The real question is was the match cut short. There’s no one in the company that can beat Reigns maybe Gable Stevenson.

What are people seeing in Reigns? This run is godawful, it's been that way for over a year, and it's killed every single face on Smackdown dead multiple times. Idk, I don't know what people saw in this match either, I love me a good hoss fight, but these guys have fought so many times before, and frankly had better matches than this, this was Mania, and it was very disappointing to me, taking the result completely out of it, they didn't do a damn thing different after all that build. the crowd man. it added a lot to it. I'll give it a pass because A) Roman will be the one at RAW tomorrow with the belts, and B) I think someone got hurt. Nevertheless, I'm not going to say that ruined Mania. This joins the best of the 30's with 30,31, and 35, which were really the only good ones.

I’m happy Roman won, dude looks great with the two belts 👑 I wanted Rock to come out at the end though! Now I’m watching the start of the show to see what I missed

I guess I'm showing my age. I truly don't get the reasoning behind changing Brock up & running him as a face losing his longtime confidant just to have him eat a clean pin. I get keeping heat on Roman, but then get some heat. I care less about both of them with that finish.

Once again, due to family things, I am still behind in my records. My Weekly Column from last week should be done by tomorrow before Raw. My site will be updated by Wednesday & also hopefully by Wednesday or Thursday will be my WrestleMania Page. I apologize for the delay.
Now, here's my WrestleMania Sunday Thoughts:
The Kickoff was such as waste of time. I don't want to see the same videos over & over and I don't care about football players & their favorite matches. They should have done matches. They could have had a US or Intercontinental Title Match on each night & the Andre Battle Royal & a Women's Battle Royal to get the rest of the Women on the card on each night. Pretty good rendition of America The Beautiful by Jessie James Decker. A million times better than last night. Cool. A different intro with Mark Wahlberg. Last year they showed the same video on both nights. Awesome, Triple H kicked off WrestleMania. I get goosebumps every time a legend comes out. Love him hugging his daughters. I think that was the first time they were show on WWE TV. Good way to start the show but sad with him leaving his boots in the ring. RK-Bro VS The Street Profits VS The Alpha Academy was a fun Triple Threat Match. I loved the final 2 RKOs. Nice Gable Steveson's 1st feud will be with Chad Gable. That will be an amazing feud. Bobby Lashley VS Omos was OK. It should have been shorter. I didn't think Lashley would win & end Omos' "Streak" (though he lost Tag Matches). It could have been a little shorter. I love that Pat McAfee is doing commentary even though he has his match later. I didn't want Johnny Knoxville VS Sami Zayn to take place, but it was awesome. I loved every bit of it especially Wee Man. I never laughed so hard watching a match at WrestleMania. Sasha Banks & Naomi VS Carmella & Queen Zelina VS Liv Morgan & Rhea Ripley VS Shayna Baszler & Natalya was great. It shows how good the Women's Tag Team Division can be when they're not having 2 minute matches. AJ Styles VS Edge was an excellent match. I love the storytelling. Also, Edge's entrance was the best entrance so far this year. And props to AJ for not missing a beat after getting busted on the set during his entrance. I love Priest & Edge together as they hinted at it in the past. So stupid, what a waste. They should have cancelled The New Day VS Ridge Holland & Sheamus and moved it to Smackdown. Now, another recap from last night. That's a slap in the face to the men that just wrestled. Great gear by New Day in tribute to Big E. More time wasted with The Undertaker coming out. We get it. You're in the Hall of Fame. Enough. That could have been given to the tag match. I just realized that there was no mention of Pat McAfee's NXT matches in his promo, so WWE rewrote history again. I love Vince McMahon coming out to introduce Austin Theory. MacAfee's entrance was cool. Pat McAfee VS Austin Theory was a fun match, but it was expected as McAfee was awesome in War Games 2 years ago, which apparently no one watched. I can't believe that Vince McMahon is wrestling McAfee, so now I have to add Vince to my records. WrestleMania has been crazy. This was Vince's 1st match since he lost to Bret Hart at WM 27. But Vince looks amazing for his age. Yes, Steve Austin is here. Awesome. Austin with a Stunner to Theory. I have missed the interaction between Austin & McMahon. Vince didn't take the Stunner well, but it was a cool moment. And anyone that complained about it are idiots. The man is 76 years old. Give him a break. I love Austin stunning McAfee afterwards. I was disappointed that we didn't get special entrances for Roman Reigns & Brock Lesnar. I loved Heyman's intro for Reigns & Lesnar's intro for himself. Brock Lesnar VS Roman Reigns was a great match. I'm glad that they didn't have blood and it was just a fight. Overall, a fun 2 Nights of #WrestleMania. I think it lived up to the hype as it was Stupendous. Once again WWE surprised us with a crappy build leading to an excellent show.

I think Roman gave one of the belts away to Heyman at the end there 😋

Damn. I missed the finish.
My biggest complaints with Brock and Roman matches is there is no variety with how their matches are laid out regardless of the build-up.

Let's not forget, Reigns didn't beat Rollins at Royal Rumble, and Seth's always had Roman's number.

Hogan vs Warrior was a better title vs title match.

Crowd liked it, atmosphere helped, but that's not gonna save this, this has been shit for awhile.

A newly unified title doesn't need an absentee champ.

I got no issue with that match. I didn't care who won as both dudes are OP, I just wanted dudes wrecking shit and I got it so I'm pleased. They have good chemistry and they finally got the main event they wanted I really see nothing wrong with it. Crowd didn’t shit on it and they did the least and got the most Yeah they did what they did and it made sense. It ain't even like Lesnar hasn't been dominating himself for years either, both guys do the same. It's just Roman's time now still. What I'm looking forward to is what's next for him.

A newly unified title doesn't need an absentee champ. I just need a breakup in the monotony, even if it meant Lesnar loses the belts f***ing tomorrow. It seems very apparent they just want Roman to slog on and break records, but it makes it feel f***ing pathetic in the process and the entire roster feels helpless and hopeless against it and his booking, it's a lose-lose situation really.
