Not paid much attention to WWE in quite some time but thought I’d see what was going on and what a horrible looking card so far. Pat McAfee? Logan Paul? Johnny Knoxville? Those budget cuts are becoming increasingly obvious Also Vince and Khan's lust for mainstream appreciation and appeal. It really is Wrestlemania Hollywood this year. Gonna guess no one around when Mike Tyson was involved in the Mania 14 main event, Floyd fought Show, Jericho picked a feud with Mickey Rourke. Celebs have been doing things at Mania all the time.

Is anyone worried that Charlotte vs Ronda could be an absolute train wreck if something/someone gets off track ? I mean had I not seen Ronda in the rumble and how badly I feel it exposed her limitations in the ring I might not be so worried, but she in there with Charlotte who for all the many many positives she has as a character, she’s not a ring general by any means. She’s not the former ruby riot in all fairness.

If I remember correctly, Rousey looked a lot better in the match in Saudi than she did in the Rumble, and that was literally with one arm tied. I haven’t seen the match with Deville on SmackDown, but I don’t imagine it went long enough to get a read on her one way or the other there.
It really could go anywhere from sleeper match of the weekend contender to all-time trainwreck.

I mean Charlotte isn’t angle or triple H, or at a huge push Stephanie. It’s the one issue I have with Charlotte.

Also, Charlotte and Rousey had a 4-star plus match at Survivor Series so I wouldn’t worry too much about their chemistry.

I'm hoping Edge vs. Styles is on night two. I'm glad the Logan Paul match will be out of the way on Saturday, so I could skip that night and night two will be a little more enjoyable. Too bad both women's championship matches are on night one. Also Vince and Khan's lust for mainstream appreciation and appeal. It really is Wrestlemania Hollywood this year. Gonna guess no one around when Mike Tyson was involved in the Mania 14 main event, Floyd fought Show, Jericho picked a feud with Mickey Rourke. Celebs have been doing things at Mania all the time. At least they have paced themselves on the attempts to be mainstream in the past, and there were still plenty of wrestlers being elevated at the same time. Usually there's a world title match that is a wrestler's moment of being crowned a main eventer, but that isn't happening on the men's side of things since Lesnar vs. Reigns feels like two supervillains fighting. I guess Belair beating Becky would cement her status as one of the top women.

I don’t know how you could call Brocks current character a super villain.

I'm sure it's gonna end up being an entertaining weekend, but I look at this show and I cannot help but feel underwhelmed by the cards. Like everybody has been so devalued it feels like they're scrambling

Charlotte and Ronda had a great match at Survivor Series and that was set up on less than a week's notice, so I think the WM match (which they've had months to prepare for) will be good. The feud itself is just shit.

Anyone have an interest if they were to make a ladder match with US and IC belts on the line? First guy up the ladder gets choice and match could continue with second guy up gets the other title or just end and the remaining title goes back to that current champion.

Same here! Also I can see it being Demon Finn vs. Priest for the US title.

So Rollins is the only person on that main event/must have a featured spot at Wrestlemania level who doesn't have something yet. I think the only two possibilities for him are Cody if he debuts or Lashley if he's not hurt as bad as we think. At this point I'm leaning towards Cody though and him already signing 2-3 weeks ago with them holding off until the Raw in Jacksonville next week to debut him. I can even picture how it would go down. We'll have depressed/dishevelled 2020 Rollins moping because he's exhausted all his possible roads/Rhodes to Wrestlemania then Cody's music will hit.
If he's coming in they're not gonna run vignettes and announce him beforehand. He's going to just show up in a shocking moment so it's in their interest to not confirm his signing and plant/have these will he or won't he stories out there so that people are still doubting it until the final moment.
As much as it would be a high profile spot for Cody to come in and beat Rollins at Wrestlemania though I really wanted Rollins to get a win this year. He lost to Cesaro last year and Owens the year before. Cody is the new guy so he'll have to win but Rollins is better in every way and has been great for the past year or so. Hopefully he gets a world title run sometime post-Wrestlemania.

Unless they bring back the Kickoff matches this year, it seems like they are going to have too many matches on the main cards. They should really stick to 7 matches (including KO and Austin confrontation) each night on the main cards. You know they aren't going to get rid of the countless video packages or the HOF segment to make room.
