With rumors of him facing the rock at mania 39, you would think that Vince would think Roman couldn’t eat a loss, but I doubt he holds the title for THAT long (I hope I’m wrong) I think there would have to be an intermission at some point. Now does that intermission happen at Mania? If it happens at Summerslam they would be a month shy of a 2 years, and I think they’d wanna milk it past that 2 year mark. The Uk Ppv is in September and that is suppose to be in a stadium. Could be a good time for Drew to get it

I don't see Roman dropping the Universal Title this year.

They could always do a thing where The Rock makes an unexpected appearance, costing him the Uni title, and then Roman takes some deserved time off while igniting an obsessive hatred for The Rock for 'turning on his own family' to create some melodrama. Otherwise, I'd expect him to win and drop the WWE title at WM but hang on to the Uni title for awhile.

I have seen no evidence that they have any plans for him to ever lose... so... yeah.

I wouldn't even be shocked if he broke Hogan's 1,474 day record. I'd say he's going for Bruno's record but like holy shit I don't want to get depressed.

He’s on the Okada run so it is a possibility

The Universal title, I think yes.

If he does that would be the first time someone since 1986 got to the two year mark. He'd have to break Pedro Morales's 1,027 day title reign first, which he'd have to hold onto past late June/early July of 2023, which means that record would be broken after nearly 50 years! Different championship, I know but it's still impressive. To break Hulk Hogan's reign, he'd have to hold the belt past September 2024. Bruno's reign would be until early April 2028.

I think he hits two years as champion at least. They're really going all in on Roman as the GOAT in this run so might as well have it be a multiple year run.

I would’ve liked to see Edge break up the reign to keep it fresh last year, but I don’t mind the 2-year reign as long as they keep things feeling fresh and interesting (which I think they largely have done but I know others disagree).

I'm numb to it at this point, and we're this far into it, so why not? Give him all the accolades, and then when he drops the title in "wet fart" fashion, Vince can be confused why there's no credible people around b/c Roman and Brock beat them all.
Again.

With the way in which they've talked about the Universal Title reign, yeah, there's no way he doesn't make it to Mania.
The catch for me will be what happens to the WWE Title. It feels like a pretty bad idea to double up the guy's workload when you're banking on a WrestleMania main event a year out. I think you'd have to do some sort of triple threat where Roman doesn't need to be pinned. If they're going all-in on Roman as this generational champ and icon, the dude shouldn't be pinned to lose a belt.

The human body isn't made to do what wrestlers do for years on end. Dudes like the Miz that rarely get hurt are rare. Roman's already got plenty of injury and illness history. Every day that ticks by raises the likelihood that the only superstar that's getting a push by beating Roman is Vacant. And Vacant doesn't need any more heat/rub/creative control.

You don't build up this feud with Brock unless Roman is going over. So that takes him through Mania. He might drop the WWE Title via shenanigans but I see him keeping the Universal Title until at least SummerSlam. Drew is really the only guy with a shot at beating him but I don't think they pull that trigger. So the answer is probably yes. It will make for pretty boring TV during his filler feuds but it is what it is.

If he drops it, it's in a multiman where he doesnt lose it directly.
I could see them doing that for the sake of a break, even if the break is some hot potato thing where they give it to Drew in front of a UK crowd, then have it back on Roman at the following SD.
That would be an explosive thing to do in front on a UK crowd, but I dont know that Vince cares anymore, as it'll sell huge any way due to how rare it is, even if he pisses people off this year and comes back next year.

I see Roman holding it past the 2 year mark, he will get both belts at Mania and lose the Raw belt probably to Seth or AJ.

Roman likely loses the title before Mania. Why should it be a title match at Mania? when it clear at that point who would win because we know the Rock isn't going to be around for a title run. I mean your going to have Roman squash everyone on the roster. Than at Mania defend against the Rock and likely retain than. Roman can take a lost. If one lost would kill Roman, than they really didn't do a good job booking than did they?
