This keeps the Okada/Naito WK alive,
But ZSJ has been incredible. Him and Taichi are so fun

This keeps the Okada/Naito WK alive, But ZSJ has been incredible. Him and Taichi are so fun I kinda liked both guys prior, but the Tekkers was one of those "thrown together"* teams that ended up bringing out the best in both guys, even when they're apart. *Stable mates tagging isn't exactly thrown together, but you get what I mean.

You can really tell they like each other a lot, I think that’s why they are good. Just very genuine.

I know plenty of people have pointed out that Taichi got popular and NJPW responded by having guys like Ishii challenging him to break away from his shtick more. Sabre used to be called boring or dry by people, with him showing a lot of personality with ratcheting up his shots taken at guys like Ospreay, or saying that showing Americans technical wrestling is like performing Shakespeare for dogs, etc. Both guys have become more complete performers.

I think that the best part of ZSJ winning is that it was foreshadowed by him being in the main-event of the Anniversary show, as he was the highest ranking performer on the submission specialists team (with Suzuki, in his twilight years, and Fujiwara).

As I said a page or two back, Naito will get a title shot at Dontaku as he had beaten Okada in the semi finals and is the runner up

How about those Tekkers.
I was afraid Ospreay would pull the same thing SHO did at the BOSJ final. So glad he he didn’t.

Or blaming Boris Johnson for his G1 woes.
