I admit I laughed at him just pulling her in and kissing her like that like immediately when I thought it was just going to be them maybe flirting a bit. It was so sudden and unexpected. Like wow ok Duke. Also Dexter being sad at the end in his hoodie. Something about a jacked dude with a mustache who is a serial killer walking off like a solemn little boy who just dumped by his first girlfriend is strangely hilarious to me. When you find out your wife has been passionately ravaged by The Duke in a past life … it just has to hit you right in the feels.

These assholes ruined my favorite show. I feel the opposite actually. Gives them some new opponents and Breakker will get the shine by beating two names. In most cases sure. But Ziggler and Roode are beyond stale where I don’t even think NXT can save them

I was kind of confused on whether she was being kicked out of the group (if she is/was an official member to begin with as I didn't really hear it explained) or if it was just a tough love thing. I'm kind of thinking the latter with that tweet and the ending of the segment with Ivy looking at Roddy when she had her pressed against the apron to know if she should continue the beating or not and then Roddy calling her off. I would much prefer Ivy as a singles heel in the women's division. Tatum looked fine and seemed better then some of the other greenhorn women (Lash Legend and Tiffany Stratton come to mind) but she really doesn't fit with Diamond Mine in that there was nothing about how she worked that indicated that she was adapt in MMA or submission wrestling which is what the group is so supposed to be about. Also poor Roddy now being demoted to being a coach for the women. He's basically the new Hachiman now.

This is the first time I've seen NXT in a while, and I know Solo Sikoa is literally the 3rd Uso brother, but isn't it a bit on the nose to just present him as the Wish.com Uso brother?
I feel like if I was him I'd wanna make myself stand out a bit more than "wear the same clothes and hairstyle as my brothers but make it blonde, also use the same damn finisher"

Aw, this is soo sweet! Wendy and Dakota as besties is all I never knew I wanted! It was sweet though I still dread sequel to familiar movie we've seen already. I watch 2.0 for a handful of people and as Dakota is one of them, I have this good feeling, yet bad feeling. For the moment I'll stay positive, thinking whatever is going on with Dakota and Wendy is payoff to all the little moments like Dakota-Cora-the table and Dakota making some effort to not share the worst with Sarray before succumbing to her voices telling her to. She seemed most like the better version of her old self last week. She is finally making more of an effort these last few weeks to resist the voices encouraging her to say bad things. She actually seemed happy last week when she realized Wendy picked her, not 'us'. Now Prichard, don't muck it up.

But most likely I'll be staying away from the net to avoid spoilers that reveal a sequel to familiar movie we've seen already. People have been rallying behind her since last summer and personally, I feel she's been more tweener since especially with them playing around with mental illness in these days. Will see where it goes, I expect some dark before the dawn, but feels this is going somewhere and not just 'am I seeing things'.

I just wanted to say your Dakota picture story site is delightful. Thank you kindly! I'm loving these segments and I'm enjoying the character development with Dakota expressing some remorse over her past actions and I thought it was a nice touch with her trying to talk Wendy out of teaming with her. Like she's so conflicted and is hopeful that this time things will be different for her, but at the end her pessimism wins out and she can't allow herself to be happy. I figured when Dakota was running around cutting these nihilistic rants at everyone she came into contact with(i.e. MSK/Valentina & Yulisa/Sarray/Wendy) that the end game would be someone showing Dakota the light. Not going to lie, when Dakota was gushing about Wendy choosing her and how happy she was and how maybe this time things will be different, I was like "oh no, this is where they setup the swerve and we find out it was a ruse all along". But then when she said "probably not" and then the melancholy look on her face afterwards, it was like maybe there's no trickery/manipulation here this time because it really seemed genuine that Dakota was upset that this partnership is just going to end up like all the others.

I'm pulling for her and Wendy to win the Dusty Cup. I think they have potential to be a fun oddball face tag team if they go that route. Unfortunately they are probably just going to have Dakota turn on her and attack her after they lose to Cora and Raquel in the second round.

Would be stupid because they desperately need some tag teams in the women's division ASAP. Raquel is possibly getting called up, Io/KLR are not going to be a long-term team, Indi/Persia are about to break up. Like they should be using this tournament to build up and establish more tag teams, not break up whatever teams you have left.

I agree however WWE loves to break up tag teams and really don't seem to care how sparse and limited their tag divisions are from a depth standpoint. They probably just figure they if they don't have any teams they can just slap two people together and just throw the belts on them immediately. I think Dakota and Wendy winning and then defeating Gigi and Jacy to become odd ball face champions would be the best move. However if you look at the brackets if they were to go with them and have them win the tournament they would have to go through all face teams to do so. Indi and Persia (who I at least think are faces or maybe Indid just is) in the first round, Cora and Raquel in the semi finals, and then either Io and KLR (likely) or Tik Tok Tag Team (probably not but possible if they do a shenanigans finish with Toxic Attraction interfering and causing Io and KLR to lose in the semis). So that tells me they are either going to be a heel team or be a short lived team that just existed to set up a feud between the two of them.

It has been quite the bit of a ride all this. I'm feeling if the long term has been for Dakota to make the face turn that is where it goes regardless of if they win or lose the Dusty. The loss may be more powerful here. There was untapped face potential waiting to be tapped into again at some point so hopefully they do. Whether Wendy and her are a long term team or they eventually find a third ally to take down a certain faction...who knows. Opposing teams of people from her past who would see her crushed. A partner with a bad habit herself. Toxic A looming about. Dakota struggling to keep it together. Might be a bit of chaotic fun hopefully with a happy ending for once.

Her loss here may actually be the important factor in the storyline. Takes the loss, but gains the trust of a new friend and rediscovers value of friendship herself. They can rebound and win the titles at some point or Dakota sets her sights elsewhere with some backup building. The loss hopefully leads to continued development, not the same movie we've seen before. I do hope they win the Cup and get the title match. I think Dakota has been waiting a few months to punch Gigi in the face...

So that tells me they are either going to be a heel team or be a short lived team that just existed to set up a feud between the two of them. The alignments of all the people in this tournament has been messed up. Like you have Kacy/Kayden, Raquel/Cora, Io/KLR, Valentina/Yulisa as Faces and Ivy/Tatum as Heels. But, then you have Indi/Persia with Persia seemingly leaning Heel; you have Amari Miller, a Face, teaming up with Lash Legend, a Heel; and then you have Wendy Choo, a Face, teaming up with Dakota Kai, a Heel who seems to be leaning Face judging by the past couple weeks. I look at Wendy/Dakota as sorta like Ciampa and Thatcher last year. They were an odd-couple team as well with Ciampa, a Face, teaming with Thatcher, a Heel. The team ended up as a way to turn Thatcher Face. Or look at the Maverick/Dain tag team. Drake Maverick was a Face, and Killian Dain was a Heel. And the team ended up as a way to turn Dain Face. I kinda think based on the past couple weeks, that seems to be the direction they are going with Dakota.
