Watched in the hopes that Cody would show up. Going with 2/10 - one extra point for Finn winning. Even that was marred by the match being way too short and Finn getting murdered afterward. Lowlight of the night has to be the cartoon whip crack sound effect they played when Bianca whipped Becky. I legitimately yelled “**** you” at my phone when that happened. Anyway it was pretty terrible. Cartoon sound effects? It'll soon me like the wcw shows censored with Batman style pows while a Tom and Jerry sound plays. And of course the banana skin slip noise when Finn falls off the top rope.

Genuinely curious about this one; I see some people here and elsewhere lauding the six-women tag match, Balor winning, and setting up AJ/Edge and saying that made for a good episode, while some here and elsewhere are speaking like this was a particularly bad episode. Having not watched myself, I'm interested in what details are making people feel the way they do if they're leaning strongly one way or the other.
Personally, all I saw was the clip of the end of Rollins/Owens winning and Edge turning. Rollins and Owens are obviously great wrestlers, but good *god* those camera cuts are unbearable (hot take, I know). With Edge, I personally just dislike when someone turns heel because "Well, we need to have face vs. heel in this match, don't we?", and WWE is way too guilty of booking like that too often.

There were some pretty shitty parts of this show. Priest turning and killing Balor, two instances of matches taking like 10 plus minutes to start because one guy came out, and they go through segments, commercial breaks, and promos, literally twice this happened on this show. Orton getting hurt via Ford botching the Frog Splash in the Tag with Street Profits, and Ciampa losing his theme music for generic bullshit and winning via rollup again only to, also, get beat down by Dolph and Roode... oh and Omos killing T-Bar in a minute to total and complete apathy. Which I think alone, doesn't make this a 10 episode, that was brutal. I also hated that Edge turn and thought it was extra as f*** and way too long. I have liked Edge's run so far, but that shit down to his acting was incredibly forced and it felt like they were trying to put that bullet back in the chamber they used with Orton when he took Edge out.

I get it's usually troll votes anyway on shows like this but whoever voted a 10, you're a straight up sadist lmfao I don’t think this is the show to hang your hat on 10s being trolls. I thought that was a great episode, pretty much beginning to end with some small nitpicks. Went with a 9/10.

I see a lot of genuinely higher ish votes, but idk, there was a lot on this show not to like and not even in a small nitpicky sense. Fair enough if people liked it but if you can watch those delayed match drawouts for both Mysterios/Hurt Business and Balor/Priest where it was like 15 minutes between each entrance then god bless you if that's still a 10 for you because holy shit watching that live felt like an endurance test

To me a show is 1 worthy when absolutely nothing happens and is a boring slog. This wasn’t one of them. Things of substance happened with mania build and a title change. I’m not going to nitpick arbitrary minuscule things. Sure they play a role in keeping a show from being a 10. But not enough to warrant a 1. I’d give it a 7.

Honestly if WWE booking was suddenly PERFECT I still wouldn't be watching because of the production. I disliked it before, but the more non-WWE stuff I watch the less I can stand it.

Two heel turns, both unnecessary, in back-to-back segments. Dammit D'Lo!

It's borderline impossible to come back to after watching any puro for any considerable amount of time. Camera work for NJPW, Pieter jokes aside, is absolutely top notch for capturing everything important in a match and in a character/narrative unfolding during said match.
