I have no problem with this. Why bring people back & rush storylines just to get them on a card where they will be overshadowed? Save their returns for after Mania, where they will be used better & in a bigger spotlight.

They hyped her with Vignettes and then had her come back at Elimination chamber only to vanish again afterwards. if they weren't going to use her going forward they really should have just stuck Carmella or someone else on the roster for the Chamber.

Yeah. This is by far, one of the worst Wrestlemania cards I have ever seen so far. Its nothing but cold matches, rematches, and celebrities taking up spots they don't need to. I think the majority view on the card is going to be much more positive (not from this board perhaps but from the fans of the company in general), especially if we get the rumored Rollins-Cody, Orton-Riddle, Owens-Austin matches/segments. Lesnar-Reigns despite having happened before is still a hot angle, Lesnar is over a ton wherever they go. Bianca-Becky likewise is a big match and both are very over.

Yeah, anyone else is sort of fine but if they were just going to have Alexa not appear afterwards…don’t have her appear at the Chamber in the first place to sell the live show? It’s literally the problem the first poster basically wanted to prevent happening actually happening.

"We have to sell as many tickets as possible in this big arena for two nights in a row for Wrestlemania." "Uh huh" "so are we gonna use asuka, or is this alexa bliss building to something for those big arena shows" "hahhahaha" All honesty, I think they're really banking on Austin wrestling. They've sold something in the vicinity of 44,000-46,000 tickets (think with comps and whatnot the number looks more like 52,000), but at this stage they must be banking on selling a lot more if they can announce a Steve Austin return in Texas. I think Meltzer last reported about two weeks ago they were at around 53K tickets sold each night, and could potentially fit another 27K each night.

If they can't find something for these three to do, even a triple threat against each other- but can find spots for Vince, Mcafee, Logan Paul and Johnny Knoxville, then there isn't much more to say.

Yes, bringing Alexa Bliss back with those stupid videos was a waste, as well as putting her in the Chamber. They should have saved her return for another time.

I guess the only counter argument would be that it’s Saudi Arabia and they need to actually make those shows packed now considering how far behind they are with stuff? So having a perpetual goober like Carmella wasn’t going to cut it compared to an actual draw and merch seller in Bliss.

So, for what it's worth, these three women were consistently overexposed on WWE TV throughout the pandemic and the last two years. They're giving TV time to others like Liv, Rhea, Doudrop, Naomi, etc. right now. I really, really don't think this is some travesty or creative failing on WWE's part.
There's still a month before Mania and they would have been in undercard matches anyways. Still time for those to develop, too. They'll all be fine.

Super thin roster, and they cannot think of anything for Asuka and Bayley to do at Mania. And why bring Alexa back at EC at all if you had nothing for her?
This is what happens when the company only gives a crap about like5-6 people tops.
Also poor Bayley, this is the second Mania in a row that thus has happened to her as well.

It's the road to Wrestlemania. They have their stories in place and feuds locked down. They do this every single year. Stop feeding in to the news system that wants you to get outraged and subscribe to hear/read more things to get you outraged. They are quickly trying to scrape up plans for people even now. This years Wrestlemania card (both nights) has very little interest or buzz even with all the speculated matches. If you seriously think they aren't booking on the fly even right now, I dunno what to tell you, man. Because as it stands, this Wrestlemania is going to be the worst one in a very long time. They don’t even have firm plans for freaking Seth Rollins yet. And they just threw Sasha and Naomi back together super fast. Saying “plans are lock in place” is absurd at this point.

None of those women feel like they have much of note right now. Nor do most have them have anything firm for Mania yet either. Also Charlotte is THE most overexposed woman on the roster, yet that has not stopped them from giving her ANOTHER title match at Mania, a main event no less. Bianca and Becky as well. Don’t buy it. Also Bayley got nothing of note to do at Mania last year either.

Yeah, Charlotte is the most overexposed person on the roster... she is almost always around the title and even when she isn't she's still the main focus of the division. I mean part of why Bayley didn't do much last week that was because Bayley and Sasha basically buried the entire division in 2020. Asuka was champion for most of that time but... even then she was still treated like an afterthought to Bayley/Sasha's feud... as well as Charlotte AND Lacey. Bianca kinda needs the mania match again due to Summerslam basically stopping her momentum and making her look awful.

Short of having her win the women's battle royal, I am honestly not sure where Asuka would fit in right now. They should have been using her, but she's in a spot of being too big to just use for random bullshit, but any of their already-planned stuff, plugging Asuka into one of the pre-existing title matches would be a mismatch, I figure.
She, too, might be someone where waiting until after 'Mania makes some level of sense, but it should probably not have gotten to this place to begin with.

Bianca and Becky as well. Don’t buy it. Also Bayley got nothing of note to do at Mania last year either. I'm tired of Charlotte and her decade long main event push as much as anyone but in her defense she's been active the entire time over the last one year plus therefore it's easier to slide her into a top Mania spot. Asuka and Bayley are both coming off long periods off to recover from injuries. I think the more ridiculous thing is Charlotte getting the main event spot over Becky even though Becky/Ronda is the obvious match considering Becky is the one who pinned Ronda and ended her undefeated streak. Then you also factor in the fact Becky went over Charlotte at Survivor Series and therefore has more momentum and legitimacy as a threat to Ronda. I know that I guess they want to do Becky and Ronda next year but a year is a long time. A LOT can change in that time. One of them could be injured. One of them could pregnant. You don't know. It just reeks of Charlotte getting another accolade and spot she doesn't deserve.

Sean Ross Sapp's supposed to have more later today, apparently.

This is what happens when you have three middle-aged men controlling "creative".
Sounds like Vince wants to tank his own creation in the name of the almighty dollar.

Wanna know what would have been an easy solution? if they actually had credible women up and down the ENTIRE divison and not simply at the top and everyone else being a worthless goob that does nothing but get fed to the top sharks.
