I read that Dunne signed a new contract a few months ago. Hence why I said if not sooner, cause that debut felt like real "Cut in the next wave" energy... cause their new signings and new deals mean utter jack shit I am sure Dunne is loving the fact he re-signed btw, the second he did, HHH fell out of power, and this is what he's stuck with. Wasting his prime away on this... BUTCH. He re-signed after Hunter lost power, I believe it was right around the time Gargano and O’Reilly’s contracts were up.

This was a very realistic possibility Dude I am almost 100 percent certain Dunne did not think he'd be on the main roster as BUTCH in that getup when he re-signed... like if he did, then I guess you got what you wanted dude lmfao.

If 2022 WWE creative was in charge in 1999, Jericho would have come in as "Clint."

Even Gunther kinda at least sounds like a WWE Superstar™ name. Butch is just. Butch.

Also I can't believe he stole Rhea Ripley's gimmick.

It's not like he's a complete unknown to the main roster but sure, let's change his name and his look and hope nobody notices.
That said, I hope he finds a way to make this work somehow. Always liked the guy.

I mean Butch is one of the toughest old-school names. Maybe this is Vince's way of being high on him? lol
