I generally like the face is fired and new "mysterious" man in a mask debuts angle. Like Mr. America, the Midnight Rider, Charlie Brown from outta town. Though they really live and die off of how well their heel counterparts play it off. I had this as a plan if I got suspended from school back in the day. how are the teachers gonna know it's you if you have a lucha mask on? It's fool proof!

The lie detector segment is one of the best things they've ever done.

Amongst Hogan's finest work.

I loved how it was a way for Hogan to use Real American as his theme on the regular while he still had the Hendrix theme until it got brought back permanently after his HoF induction in 2005

They should have made Mr. America the new Doink. Just put people in it every once in a while. They should have resurrected it for John Cena when he was fired from The Nexus. Hell they should have let a woman play it. Just get f***ing ridiculous with it. Like how Koko B. Ware was the Blue Blazer specifically one time that was never explained Did this actually happen? If so, I want video footage PRONTO!!!!

During Owen's I don't know who the Blue Blazer is! Gimmick. where he would like interfere on behalf of Jarrett. During an Owen and Jarrett Match on Raw, "Blue Blazer" runs out but it was played by Koko B. Ware. People for a while thought it was Mark Henry (myself included since Henry did a promo like before the match with Debra) but looking at the footage years later it's clearly Koko. was from the January 25, 1999 edition of Raw where Jeff and Owen win the tag belts from Bossman and Shamrock.

How could the Blue Blazer be Mark Henry? That black blue blazer looked way too skinny for him to be Mark Henry.

Hogan's 2002 comeback run was amazing.
I wish the NWO lasted longer though.
But watching him out over the likes of Angle, HHH, Brock and others clean was crazy to see.

It was one of the first angles I ever saw so it has a special place in my heart.

And they ended it in a shit when Hulk came out after a RAW ended, took off his mask to the crowd, and put it back on, and the next week they fired him because of it?
Just felt very anticlimactic.

Believe Hulk demanded more money and quit. Or something similar. So they used the mask take off as the way to end it.
