As defective said, they should've gone with KiLynn King for it. She's got thrice the experience and matches in comparison to Hart KiLynn King matches: 60 Julia Hart Matches: 28 Let's not act like King has had a ton of in ring work compared to Julia, she's still very new to this business as well. Julia's also pretty damn over, she's been since she joined the Blondes. I'm not saying King couldn't have worked here, but I fail to see why King would have been such a BETTER choice in comparison. Hart's been doing well in her last few matches, she's really improved, and her becoming a maniac in the HOB might be just what she needs

I had no clue Kip Sabian has been in the crowd... interesting. I thought he was still on his honeymoon.
And to be fair, with Penelope Ford... I'd call out of work to extend my honeymoon too.

Storm is, not unusually, 100% correct.
There is absolutely a place for a angle like Kip where you have an unexplained element on the show that gets part of the audience speculating about it. But you need to actually build it up steadily; at first blink-and-you-miss-it, then make sure you see it every show, then start doing stuff like this week where the camera lingers on him doing something. Kip's spent over half a year sitting there with no real progression at all until now, that's far too long.
It can still be salvaged if they build it up from here, of course. But it wasn't well done up until now.

I'm really not sure if they're just biding their time for Miro to come back, or if Kip is still not cleared to wrestle but can travel with his wife.

It's just sad that they've made this guy go and stand out there with a bag on his head for months on end. I bet a large part of Dynamite's audience hasn't even noticed (or just thought it was a fan with a gimmick).

I went to Dynamite in Pittsburgh two weeks ago and saw Kip and Penelope walking into the parking garage I was leaving. And yes he still had the box on his head.

Yeah it really should be noted, no one is making Kip do anything... he's actively been doing this himself. He has stood outside arena's for hours with this box on his head, he's been doing it for awhile now, and been doing it in small subtle ways in seemingly every place he's been. He constantly interacts with Fans in the box gimmick as well, being mute, and only using hand gestures. He's been downright committed to this character change for months and he seems to be wanting to get it over in his own weird way while he's been hurt, no one seems to be making him do a thing.

One of his bosses could be telling him to do this. So he is. So in that sense he is being forced to. It’s great he’s committed to this character. Wonder if we ever find out what the character is!

By what he's said and the box it seems he feels he is underrated, overlooked, outcast as a whole, and he just keeps floating around, staying in everyone's heads. He has been talking recently about "When the time is right" so I wonder if he'll be good to go soon. Idk if a boss is telling him to do this, I mean maybe they pitched the idea? But the dude seems beyond committed to it, so there's that.

And if he tells him to wear it in the parking garage same thing. That's all I was trying to say. Just like idk you work at Target and have to wear a red shirt. You're being forced to by your boss. The character stuff I know from twitter etc but to anyone that just sees his "Stuff" on TV he's just box head guy. And if they even know it's him like Lance Storm.

Yeah I don't really know when the trigger will be pulled on it, but it's not so egregious to me that it's a huge deal or needs to happen soon, I think Julia's has to happen much sooner and it seems that it is by the Universal DARK Taping notes, so that's good He was beginning to do stuff with it on Sammy's Vlog too awhile back, but that stopped, Kip himself stopped appearing in anything Sammy related about the same time he broke up with Pam (And he was not the only Vlog Crew member who stopped appearing around this time and hasn't since), no clue if it's related or if Kip simply decided to not do stuff on vlogs with this gimmick though, they did do so much shit together too, and now they do nothing on camera as a duo. In fact he teased something with Sammy on Twitter recently with this gimmick, they did have one of the first AEW Matches, maybe when this Sky feuds ends they do something idk.

Man I loved Julia Hart on Dark Elevation this week. She is really building something, and she's only 21.

Man I loved Julia Hart on Dark Elevation this week. She is really building something, and she's only 21. Slow as it's been, the web show side of Julia's angle has been gratifying to watch. I was really skeptical of Julia, as she seemed unremarkable and one-dimensional and not the kind of prodigy that Anna Jay and Brooke Havok (the other major developmental projects) were. She's been clearly working on expanding her moveset past spots that use her cheerleading training, and even if the one positive of this angle is an interesting demonstration of a wrestler deliberately rounding out her skill set, that's at least something.

Julia's solid.
While her HOB involvement or just general heel turn is moving at a snail's pace it's still at least moving. Although it's stalled a few times on the way. Just crazy to think he spit the mist at her way back in December now.
Wheras Kip I look at like this.
I've been to three AEW shows.
One last September when he was in the arena concourse area taking pictures with fans with the box.
My next one was in January. He was sitting in the crowd now with the box.
And one two weeks ago where he was sitting in the crowd.
Since September he's gone from the concourse to the crowd. Since September!!!
