I'm not super familiar with the show or format itself (watched promos going into episodes) but man, was that fun to watch.
The Jericho VO going from "I'm not doing it" to doing it because it's paying a lot, Tazz being upset and leaving, the AEW debut of BARRY GODDAMN HOROWITZ! The reconstructions being almost too perfect, just a total blast.
That's two MJF intros on the trot in Long Island that were superb.

I love that they got Jericho to dot he voiceover as he does all of dark side voice overs. but still had a nod that be hates MJF

That might've been one of the best vignettes AEW has ever made, was just a beautiful thing, as was the whole segment

That was one of their best promo packages to date, and it had me marking out for a Barry Horowitz appearance in 2022.
Fun aside: When I first saw the Dark Side of The Ring logo I almost thought my PVR had messed up, because on TSN 2 Dark Side...is the show that comes on after AEW.

What's the latest with DSotR? Seems like the Plane Ride episode totally curtailed their increasing popularity, I guess there's certain people that remain off limits from these kinds of stories...

As far as I know it wasn't picked up for a fourth season, but the creators are developing a new series with Dwayne Johnson's production company about the territory days. |
