That show was well worth my money imo The second half of this show was f***ing aces I've never left an AEW PPV feeling like I didn't get my money's worth. It's a great feeling.

I hope we don't get some condescending promo from Punk out of this. I don't hate that he won or anything, but if he tries to bitch out Hangman after the whole build was him being a patronizing shitbag, then it's going to be unnecessarily miserable. Why you already misery booking?

Punk has been the number 2 in the promotion since coming back and has been working hours ass off. He's more than earned this moment.
Just give my boy Kingston the rub.

Loved the main event. Had that big match feel and told a great story.

This was the first AEW PPV I've ever watched. Been keeping up with the product a little more the law few months. I like AEW. It's different for sure and some stuff is just not what I like in wrestling(Anarchy in the Arena for example) but this show definitely made me want to keep up with the product more even tho I thought was just ok.

The second half really saved the show, it did run into a problem of good matches but the wrong winner and especially heels overall dominating the show.
Wardlow got his big murder showcase and writes off MJF.
I don't hate the Hardyz winning but it was very clear that it was a huge Bucks carry job. It was as good as it was thanks to them.
Jade was the right winner but the match wasn't as good as the last Jade-Jay match. Sets up Stat as the next contender and debuted both Hathaway and Athena so worth it.
Finally got to the Julia Blackhart factory and this was easily the best match until the Women's title match.
Boring, plodding men's Owen final. Annoyed that it's been clear ever since Cole got in that he'd be winning it and especially after he went over Dax.
Women's final was better than the last time but Ruby desperately needed the win, the whole story going into this is that she has underdelivered and has been second place and then you just have Britt win clean.
Mixed tag was fun and enjoyable but I'm so happy they're moving on from this shit.
Sprint between Kyle and Darby was really good and Kyle got to look like a killer.
Women's title match was great.
Anarchy in the Arena was exactly what it needed to be, a bloody concession stand brawl with Wild Thing playing for 8 minutes. Pretty clear that this is leading to Blood and Guts and they don't want the JAS to lose both.
Triangle tag was great but Jurassic Express shouldn't have won that as they were the coldest part of the match.
Main event was a little sloppy but it played into CM Punk being outclassed but winning because of Hangman's insecurities.

This was the first AEW PPV I've ever watched. Been keeping up with the product a little more the law few months. I like AEW. It's different for sure and some stuff is just not what I like in wrestling(Anarchy in the park for example) but this show definitely made me want to keep up with the product more even tho I thought was just ok. I loved Anarchy in the Arena myself, but it's all good. We've all got our own tastes.

well since my wrestling shirt choices this weekend didn't jinx Punk for once, maybe Matt Cardona's bicep injury won't be too severe too

If MJF really is out the door who's dethroning Punk? Eddie. At Grand Slam 2022.

The Owen Finishes and the TNT Title Match were the weakest things on the show.

I am glad that I didn't refund my tickets after all, and also stayed through the main event. What a show this was. I hope that my local theater shows Forbidden Door.

Punk: "I think we make the focus on telling stories and focusing on wrestling."
They got the wrestling focus but I feel like stories need to really kick into gear again now they've overall steadily fallen away since Full Gear
