Nope. This particular seventies icon wasn't a film star as much as a tv guy.

Nah, though that woulda been one manic Spidey as Robin was coked out of his mind in those days. According to the biography Stan Lee and the Rise and Fall of the American Comic Book ( which is quite good, I need to reread so I can give ya'll a proper review of it) the guy Marvel was shooting for was one Henry Winkler
The Fonz woulda been swinging from buildng to building.

Kinda torn on this one. The fan invaded his personal space and Tobey has a right to be mad, but knocking the camera away can not only lend him bad press but also be arrested and lawsuit for damages Oh and the reason he probably did it later was probably since it seemed that there was more paparazzi around. Tobey might have not seen the camera during the day

The Fonz was/is a Hero in his own right

Though if Marvel woulda made the flick in the seventies like they intially planned, the star woulda been interesting. Can ya'll guess who was #1 on the list to play him? Robert Deniro? With Joe Pesci as Harry Osbourne. Harry: F*** Spider-Man Petey! He killed my father. Parker: Whats the f***in matter with you? You f***ing hated your father. In fact you were gonna kill him yourself so you could get his company. Harry: F*** you it's the f***ing principal of the thing! Parker: F*** you Harry I'm not gonna talk to you till you calm the f*** down. Harry: You know F*** you Petey! I f***ed MJ you know. She gives the worst blow job in the f***ing world. She is a f***ing whore! Parker: Thats It! *Both get into fist fight* With Frank Vincent as JJ Jameson.

God, he's a geeky looking waxer. He can't do a decent interview to save his life, either.

No one's pissed that there's an advertisement at the begining of that video? That's your future youtube.

That's the future of any corporate site now... they have to make money somewhere. You know what really sucked before broadband was all the rage? Having to stream commercials on dial-up before you could see something that you wanted to see. OR, how about downloading MP3s on dial up, only to have the file you downloaded be corrupt?
Le sigh.
BTW, Tobey rocked in Pleasantville. Seabiscuit, not so much.
