Last year, I went into the draft almost blind, drafted people like Robert Tonyan as my TE1, and Chris Carson not knowing about his neck injury and... well got f***ed... and I still made the championship by the end of the year. The Draft is important, but sometimes being diligent also matters, and can save your season tbh I like 5th, I'm guaranteed a big time player, just depends on who I'm left with after the top 4. The wait's are gonna be long this draft for almost everyone with the 14 team roster, but this is gonna make things exciting imo. You're gonna really need to pay attention to your depth Let's go fellas! Please don't make me fight häšhtå.gdālėÿ on the worst bye week of my life again! |

I love having to scrape the bottom of the barrel for talent in large leagues. Like having the 49ers 4th receiver will make a difference at some point, and I love that!
I’m always in an 8 team one it’s just one all-nfl team vs another all-nfl team. There’s always someone worth grabbing on the wire at all times. It just isn’t as engaging.

I love having to scrape the bottom of the barrel for talent in large leagues. Like having the 49ers 4th receiver will make a difference at some point, and I love that! I’m always in an 8 team one it’s just one all-nfl team vs another all-nfl team. There’s always someone worth grabbing on the wire at all times. It just isn’t as engaging. My season was saved in part to the likes of Devonta Freeman and Jordan Howard last year. You quite literally never know who is gonna matter as the year goes on... |

Anyone else try Mock Drafts out?
I've done a couple, some differing results depending on how many people stick around and don't auto pick, which is why it's so hard to really pinpoint a Mock compared to a draft where you know, or hope, all 14 people will be there drafting till the last pick
But at least they've let me know the overall depth of a 14 draft board, barring injuries...

I've figured out from where I am I NEED to go RB at least on the first or second round. By the time the end of the third/start of the 4th rolls around, I'm already scraping for fringe starters and committee backs. I can deal with that if I have one ace RB and have a good WR to boot. But any mock where I've gone WR/WR to start, I've not liked the end result. I've done RB/WR and RB/RB and ended up with teams I liked. |

I'm pretty glad I'm in the middle this year at 8/7
I was at 14/1 last season and that made it so much harder to pick when
I had to anticipate who would still be left when was my pick again

Mocks are weird because drafts I think I did really nice on I get like C grades and Drafts I'm iffy on they're like "A, excellent dude" lol Yeah, the grades be weird like don't gas me, in theory I have a good team but shit can go left fast They are just good for in theory so I can have an idea what players are out there but I already kind of got my A/B/C scenarios set up just a matter of it playing out Yeah I basically have to make sure my first pick is good and then I have to play by ear with the next two because I gotta wait awhile, but then get two relatively quick picks in a row, then another long wait A 14 team league is really gonna test depth for the long haul of the year, so you really wanna make sure you pick right That being said I drafted Chris Carson and Zack Moss as my RB depth last year, Moss got depth charted before the first game (I'm talking right before kickoff, that was fun) and Carson's neck gave out like week 2... and also had Chase Edmonds miss like the entire middle of the year, and I made the championship so... sometimes you just gotta let it ride and accept that Devonte Freeman and Jordan Howard are your 1 and 2 lmfao |
