Wait, that can't be right. Because they did several episodes with scenes in the basement, and there was no office there. The Basement was below the kitchen (and about the same size). Office was under the living room (and it was just his office, not where he actually delivered babies or anything).

Remember the ep when Cliff introduced the kids to their Grandfather, the jazz musician? Didn't they have three jazz musician grandfathers? ;D

Ugh, stupid Family Guy, making dummies think they know about old shows, but all they know is just what the manatee joke involving the old show was about.

So they don't know what the JAZZ is all about! Yeah, it's sad, since Cosby Show was actually phenomenal.

My problem with The Cosby Show is that Dr. Huxtable is almost never shown at, leaving or going to work. He can't have that much vacation time, right? his main clinic is downstairs in the basement, if I recall Really? I didn't remember that. I thought they just showed him at the hospital once in awhile to prove that he actually did work. I don't remember seeing a steady stream of patients going into and out of the Huxtables basement though.

No, he definitely had an office in the house.
I remember an episode where he couldn't get anything done because he had to keep going back upstairs because the kids kept acting up.

Slightly off the topic but...
It's not a big deal that Cos was an OBGYN in his basement/office. They lived in the city, and that's where a lot of sole propretorships are. BUT what about Jason Seaver on "Growing Pains." They guy had a suburban house, and he saw PSYCH patients there? WTF?

Here's some trivia: Sondra was going to be played by Whitney Houston, but the other chick had a better audition and they gave it to her.
And Cockroach was fired for not cutting his hair.
WTF? Did they not see Vanessa's insane hairdos?

What does the Fresh Prince have in common with Cosby?
I HATED how Vanessa's hair got all... crazy towards the end. Plus, I remember Claire ended up getting an office downstairs too.

I think their basement was incredibly huge, like Oscar the Grouch's trash can.

Did they not see Vanessa's insane hairdos? So, the guy who played Cockroach got fired for not cutting his hair, yet Cosby kept Lisa Bonet despite the fact that those two didn't really get along. Someone was eating too much pudding.

Yeah, he made A Different World just for Lisa Bonet. He saw something in her during auditions, and wanted her to be a focal part of the show. He set it all up for her... and when her life crashed and burned and she f'd up the Different World, he brought her back to the Cosby Show so she could have a job and steady income.
Bill Cosby didn't screw Lisa Bonet.
Lisa Bonet screwed Lisa Bonet.
