There seems to be this aura in this crowd of "they're seriously not going to have these two jerk foreigners main event Wrestle Kingdom, right?"

I'm sure someone else did the 'hits the finishers of all the guys who beat Okada' on him. But might be mixing it up with when ELP was doing the finishers of bullet club leaders things.
Great match so far

Huh... safe option but will be a relief to a lot of people. Okada vs White at WK then.

Man, the members of JAM Project kept wearing the costumes through the show. Respect.

Ospreay having a murderous schedule.
Wrestling three straight days and now he's gotta go to Europe for RPW 10th anniversary show and then on Dynamite next Wednesday

New Japan is heading to London on October 1st and 2nd, their first time back in The UK in three years The venue they've chosen looks to be a bit of a pain to get to compared to the previous time. Will probably still end up making the trip though.

It's good that WK is going back to one night event.

The arena they've chosen for Royal Quest seats about 2-3,000. Copper Box from 2019 was much bigger, so I'd guess that the joint ticket revenue from these 2 shows will roughly match. I guess with BritWres' nadir combined with a perceived decrease in NJPW's global attention, this could be a sensible move.
However, Crystal Palace looks to be an utter pain to travel to, so I could see that being a hassle for people wanting to go.

It was a great main event but you gotta wonder how much longer the fans will not be allowed to make noise

Yeah its clearly them recognising theyre not the force they once were internationally. Britwres twitter has mostly written off New Japan. A combination of the awful 2020/21 product, guys like Ospraey and Sabre not being liked by a large part of the audience post Speaking Out and, frankly most significantly, TV Asahi being legal nightmares over gifs has killed so much goodwill. But to fair, aa rhe quote goes britwres is dead.

New Japan in a rebuilding phase. They are rebuilding the fan base in North America and now going to do so in the UK.

So per Ospreay's twitter page apparently his infection back in May was bad enough that he almost died Sounds a lot like Jerichoβs pulmonary embolism from December. Seems to be a lot of appendix surgeries in wrestling these days, as well. Yeah, Eddie Edwards had appendix surgery last year.
