While not obscure,I need to recollect the Sandman,Preacher and Lucifer series. I need to buy them online and they don’t always come as advertised. I would love if they would re release them in the UK to allow us to hunt them out just like old times

I'd love to have both aborted runs of Prez, along with the Prez-themed issue of the Sandman, all in one medium-sized collection. Prez was an actual character? I remember reading that Sandman issue and just thinking it was a weird one off. And to the OP, I would enjoy a TPB of the Trinity storyline from the mid 90s. The crossover between Green Lantern, LEGION, and Darkstars. It wasn't particularly memorable, I was just really into the storyline. Yeah, was a short run comic in the 70s with much the same premise as the Sandman comic - though Gaiman did of course add his own twists - and then it had a delightfully bizarre reboot in the 2010s that only lasted 6 issues, set in a near future where a teenager gets elected as a write-in candidate after a massively viral video. Had some really interesting stuff building up in the background like a sentient drone/robot soldier called "War Beast" that finds sanctuary with a small church group.

It will probably never happen due to licensing issues, but I'd love to see some collected editions of the late '90s Acclaim/Valiant comics - especially the Turok series that the N64 games were based on. Some Impact Comics collections would be nice, too. But again, the licensing situation is complicated. Since DC now owns the characters, has DC ever released collections of the original Captain Marvel (Shazam) comics? Or the Charlton comics (Captain Atom, Blue Beetle, The Question, etc.)? They did put out two hardcovers collecting Ditko's issues of Captain Atom and Blue Beetle a while back.

Back in the 70’s there was a short lived comic called “Plop!” While it existed, it was my second choice of reading material behind Mad Magazine but ahead of Cracked I’d love to see those again

Maybe I imagined it... but i thought I saw a collected Armstrong & Archer trade offered by the new Valiant publisher... was it last month or two months ago?

At one point several years ago I finally read the infinity gauntlet trade. Talking to the people at the comic shop I mentioned it felt like something was missing. It turned out there was a story in silver surfer that was a direct lead in to it and was basically Thanos gathering the stones. However, it was long out of print because it was random silver surfer. I would really like to see the whole story gathered in one trade. You are thinking of Thanos Quest. It is collected, thrice even. Silver Surfer: Rebirth of Thanosand Silver Surfer Epic Collection; Thanos QuestThere is also the Infinity Gauntlet Omnibus if you want the entire event and have some spare change to spend. Damn, apparently I didn't look too hard then.
Although, it looks like two of them came out after the last time I looked.
Thank you for the info.

DC at one point was going to release a Showcase of the original Blue Devil series. That line of reprints is done but I wish they'd still collect those stories.
There's an omnibus of the Detroit era JLA but it's selling for like $300 now so it would be nice if they put those out in a cheaper format.
The one that will NEVER happen is Alan Moore's "1963" series from Image

I used to have the KISS comic from ‘77 where the band gained superpowers and fought Dr. Doom. I read that thing to tatters. It would be cool to see that idea make a comeback.

Actually, I can think of something possibly obscure. I’d like to get my hands on the Shogun Warriors run with Marvel. At one point I had half a dozen of them that my mom picked up from somewhere for me. I also had a couple of issues from the Marvel run of BSG.

Agreed, along with the Godzilla series that Marvel was running at the same time. Hell, has Marvel ever collected their 2001 series? I love Kirby, and it'd be cool to see the original of Machine Man.

Has also the supergirl issue Prez was in and hte Vertigo One shot. No idea if it is OOP. But was cheaper to buy it than issue 4 of Prez, which is the only issue of that original run I am missing.

Ok lets see,and trying to mostly hit stuff I am sure isn't out in a TPB or hardcover.
YEAH!-The 9 issue Peter Bagge written Gilbert Hernandez drawn all ages comic about a All woman rock band. Sure Fantagraphics put out a trade that is long OOP. But that is in B/w and missing the letter pages. The letter pages were answered by the band's manager.
Ms Tree-Someone mentioned Max allen Collins and this is his comic that I really really really want tpbs or hardcovers of I collected almost a full run of the issues to get bound into a hardcover and just never sent them out. Great crime fiction with one of the most unique coloring styles of it's era.
Killraven-Yea Marvel put it out in B/w in the essentials but AFAIK there is no color collection. And those Essentials are all out of print.
Hot Stuff the lil devil-All I have ever seen of this in TPB form is that Dark Horse vol that is half b/w half color. Hell we need more of all the Harvey properties in TPB form.
Hanna Barbara stuffs from Gold Key/whitman/Dell/Charlton-Some of the Charlton stuff wasn't copyrighted properly so some PD companys have put that stuff out in TPB. But there is some fun stuff in those Flintstones,Scooby Doo,Huckleberry Hound and other comics.
Archie's Weird Mysteries-Yea there is a TPB,OOP,that collectss random issues. But I would love a full run of the title.
Sure 4 minutes after hitting post I will think of ten more.

It'll NEVER be reprinted, but the Marvel run of ROM: Spaceknight. Unfortunately, Hasbro owns the rights and recently sold the rights to the character to IDW. And IDW cant reprint the Marvel series since it featured Marvel characters, and not just in cameos, but as a regular part of the series.

A complete collection of Angel and the Ape. I imagine that would sell about as well as sand in a desert but I would love it.

Few yearss back when they opened,I picked an 80% run of ROM out of Hero's Haven dollar comic bins. Thankfully if you dont mind reader copies you can usually gt most issues of ROM for a buck or so. Now if I can just find a bindery that accepts comics and will make me my ROM Spaceknight hardcovers.

Had never knew Marvel did a EPIC collection of Killraven. I was talking about the old Marvel Essentials TPB that is B/w on cheap newsprint. I would love to see nice collections of the various DC 70s War,western and horror titles. So much great art and stories in them.
