I know it's tv and majority of time we are supposed to believe nothing really happens before or after the wrestling show airs in tv, but if your attack some one or turn on someone or cost them a title or important match, wouldn't you show up at their house to at least confront that person. Not wait a week, after getting turned on by your long term partner just to show up on tv and call that person out to find out 'why or what happened'. You would realistically go to their homes to kick their ass

either no one knows where anyone else lives, or they work out how much it will cost to do it and think "eh, screw it... I know where they will be next week and I'll be there anyway so I can get them then."
wwe wise, they're worried that the invisible camera people are already there to capture their planned evil deeds so dont bother.

I know it got the WWE in trouble with the network and the general consensus is that the Pillman/Angle gun angle was a mistake, but I loved it then and still think it was good, captivating TV

Why doesn’t anyone ever think to tickle their opponent when in a submission they can’t reverse or break?

Showing up uninvited at a co-worker's house to hash out a professional disagreement sounds like a good way to get shot.
And what will HR think?

Because they're never good. Pillman pulled a gun on Steve Austin and it's like... Well why wouldn't he? It basically raised too many questions.

Why pull a gun when you could have a long, boring WrestleMania match instead? You pull a gun and kill a guy, one guy suffers. Go to Mania and we all suffer.

I still remember all the random ass people living in Randy Orton's home.

Home invasion angles? Meh.
Actually booked cinematic matches at specified locations, under a Broken Hardyz/Lucha Underground type vibe? That’s something you can work with.

Because they're never good. Pillman pulled a gun on Steve Austin and it's like... Well why wouldn't he? It basically raised too many questions. Yeah. It's one of those things that breaks the fiction. If the wrestlers in question are heading to one another's houses to just start fights, it raises questions about why either of them even wants a sporting contest on pay per view, or why they would bother attacking one another in places where the audience can see it (without raising further questions about invisible cameramen, mind). The most famous example involving a gun brings up the other thing that breaks the fiction, just to mention. The second you start talking about shooting someone, the test of skill that's the basis for the entire fiction collapses into meaninglessness.

Cause trying to top Christian throwing an empty water jug at Abyss' head like a bouncy ball is hopeless

I say that is an unfair excuse because the announcers tell EVERYONE where a guy is from when they enter...So we can start in Parts Unknown and go from there

I kinda liked when Impact did it earlier this year. Moose visited Josh Alexander's wife and kid at their home but it was just to drop off a contract and talk a little shit lol.

Yeah, as an intimidation tactic, sure, you can do something with it, but if you're having a fight break out, it gets harder to make it work. Besides, if you're shooting at a location and not in front of the live paying audience, you're asking everyone to stare at the screen, and you really don't want to test their patience too much. Might just be better to do something fun instead like a bar room brawl or the like, if about the same amount of work is going to go into it, anyway.
