My guess was he found out that this was known for around a week internally and he was mad to find out about it last second like a common wrestler. Once people talked some sense into him about how much money he'd leaving on the table, he came back. I will be curious to see if he sticks around after Summerslam or not. My guess is that he will be back to finish his contract.

I don't mean to sound snarky, but to anybody being like "they worked everyone!" It makes literally NO SENSE.
- They took him off all advertising a few hours before the show - Rewrote the whole show without him
Like, why would you do that to work dirtsheets? He got pissed, left and somebody got to him and talked him back into the building. Too many people thinking about conspiracy theories lately.

My guess, and it's only my guess, is that Brock threw a strop, cooled off fairly quick, and did what was intended in the first place.
Not a work, no huge bag of cash handed over, no intent to gotcha any of the journos.

The only reason I want to say there's a chance this could be a work is just because WWE has blatantly done work "Brock isn't happy and wants to leave" shit multiple times before, and never to any real purpose those times either. I remember the story of Brock Lesnar getting mad at an end of one WrestleMania and threw the world title across the wall. Nothing really came out of it. Was that the same one where he supposedly roughed Vince up or something?

Why does anyone believe it when Brock "walks out"? Dude's a pissy little baby and has done this over and over.

Theory referenced cashing MitB on him in the opening segment. They ran ads during the show including Roman vs. Brock in the main event. If they rewrote the show, sure was convenient that they wrote it in such a way that Brock’s run-in at the end coincided with a match involving Theory and two guys in The Bloodline instead of … literally anything else, which would make no sense if they weren’t out there. Not to mention that not a single source bothered to text their wrestling journalist buddies ‘oh hey Brock’s back, looks like everything is cool.’ Yep, not a work at all lol.

Oh dammit he came back. Knew that much positive news at once was too good to be true. It saved us from Goldberg's return. That is good news to me.

Who does it benefit to do that? Nobody. Why take your top attraction for the night off television advertising hours in advance of the show? Only if something was wrong. Re: Theory, it’s entirely possible that everything got hashed out around showtime. Or, they wouldn’t just give up on mentioning Lesnar until they knew for sure they wouldn’t have him for SummerSlam. And if they knew things were cooling down around showtime, then yes, maybe they would write an ending in a way where they could just plug Brock in. I’d sooner believe Alvarez and others got an overblown report than WWE deciding at 5PM to intentionally WORK THE SHEETZ. WWE’s dumb, but that’s idiotic even for them.

Makes zero sense.
