I freaking love Daredevil and Spidey interactions in the comics. They're so different yet so similar.

How would Holland appear on the Daredevil show and still manage to appease Sony? Does he have to say “It’s Morbin’ Time!” or something?

How would Holland appear on the Daredevil show and still manage to appease Sony? Does he have to say “It’s Morbin’ Time!” or something? all playstation branded clothing, new ps5 inspired spider costume, last lines for peter parker are "cool, you've got this... I'm off to play god of war ragnarok, then watch the uncharted movie before they start filming the sequel"

So like, am I the only person who doesn't really care if Elden Henson and Deborah Ann return or not? Like, the biggest flaw with the original show was that Cox never really had chemistry with those two actors (and tbh, Deborah Ann isn't that good of an actress in general, if I'm being honest). A friend of mine argued that the bad chemistry was intentional because it was meant to show that Matt isnt a very good friend but eh, it just felt like bad chemistry between the actors to me.

That's certainly a take I've not seen before. The chemistry between the leads is near-universally praised. I'd say the chemistry between Cox and Woll isn't quite there for the romance subplot (especially compared to Cox/Dawson and Woll/Bernthal), and everything is overshadowed by Cox and D'Onofrio, who are arguably one of the greatest protagonist-antagonist pairings ever, but I think the show just wouldn't have worked if the Matt/Foggy/Karen relationship didn't feel believable.

Odd, because its a take I've heard a lot. MovieBob mentioned it in his review of Season 2, as a sort of franchise original sin that was always there in Season 1 as well but didn't really bubble to the surface because everything else about Season 1 is so good. Also I just personally noticed it well before watching that review. Cox is a great actor, and he DID have amazing chemistry with D'Onofrio (and Bernthal), but I never felt the Matt/Foggy or Matt/Karen relationships sparked on screen. Especially Matt/Karen. Sidenote, agreed that Woll and Bernthal had incredibly chemistry.

I totally bought them as old college buddies who have been attached at the hip for years. Matt/Karen was solid enough, but Karen had so much going on outside of the trio, be it with Ben or Punisher or by herself, that I can see how it might come across a bit forced or unnatural. Of her and Foggy I'd certainly miss Karen less should they not return. I like the character and Woll herself, but I don't really want to see her as kidnap/threat bait again, nor do I wish to see her fridged for the sake of drama.

I can live with that. I like Woll and Hensen in the roles, but I was more concerned with Bernthal holding out over not wanting to compromise on the tone. If he's officially on board, I feel confident that we won't be getting anything overly watered down.

On one hand, Foggy and Page are important characters to Matt.
On the other, Bernthal has nailed the role as Castle.

Yep pretty much as above. If Foggy and Karen were recast I'd feel a bit eeeeeeehhh, but, if their characters just don't feature, can't say I'd miss them.
Bernthal as Castle however feels like a big positive for the show.

If they're simply not part of the story, then there's no reason why they can't return somewhere down the line. Besides, we still haven't gotten any word on if the most important character in the whole Defenders saga will return or not. {Spoiler}
