According to various sources, the opening arc of the season would have seen {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Matt retire from being Daredevil after Foggy and Karen are murdered in the opening scenes of the first episode. Yeah, I'm fine with them starting over. Good God that might be one of the worst opening series ideas I've ever heard.

Has there ever been an example where this actually works? I feel like it always sucks. {Spoiler}Game of Thrones struck gold a couple of times, but also did it to the point of desensitising the audience.
But yeah, in a serialised medium like comic book adaptations, killing off characters in general is both cheap and lazy, as well as narratively restrictive. Killing off a character after an appearance or two when they have dozens of fantastic stories in the comics is a waste.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}NGL, if it were like how USA handled writing out Stringfellow and Dom in Airwolf I'd have been a fan

Have a bad feeling that Daredevil: Born Again could be turned into a live action spinoff of Spider Man Freshman Year as Freshman year will likely be out before Daredevil now as Daredevil is in Freshman Year.

Scrap it all and start a new Frogman series.

Dario Scardapane best known for his work on Netflix's 'THE PUNISHER' will serve at the showrunner for Marvel Studios 'DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN'.

Meh. Daredevil's been around for sixty-something years. Would much rather see them explore some of the many many other supporting characters that he's picked up over that time then defaulting back to the Netflix show.

With Kevin Feige being recently twattish about the canon status of Agents of SHIELD in the MCU, having even more character connections from the Netflix shows in the MCU is a decision with which I can agree.

They can still explore other supporting characters. As far as we know they could appear for 10 minutes. Better than the original plan of “lets kills them off screen”.
