Man, I can't wait for Bianca to face Io. Did they ever wrestle in NXT? Mostly in multi person matches...the only 1 on 1 encounter (that I can remember) was at the end of a battle royale but what a chemistry they have. The 1 on 1 starts from 14:52

I hope not. I know I'm in the minority but I thought they handled that poorly and I don't think they are really that needed anyways. The division is also in need of an overhaul. There's too many women like them on the roster that have been around since 2015 or 2016 or even earlier that are very stale and are very burnt out from a creative standpoint. Would rather they just call up some new blood from NXT like Alba Fyre and give them a shot. AEW needs them way more so I'd rather they went there. There's a level on which I want AEW to miss out on them for that exact reason. Let Tony Khan know that he can't count on top talent just falling into his lap to fix his booking deficiencies. That's me asking for a less good wrestling show out of spite, mind you, but I'd take that hit if it had long term benefits to both promotions.

Word going around is that Steph and/or Paul have been in contact with them to get them back in the fold I hope not. If he can patch the bridge, I’m super excited for her future. Naomi needs a complete overhaul. I less dislike her, and more dislike the glow demon.

Dakota will still stream! Looking like the Twitch bullshit is done, or at least very relaxed.

Wonder how that whole interaction went. I bet a lot of disagreements and issues will be ironed out much more smoothly without the insane old man at the helm.

Control isn't a bad stable name if that's what they're truly calling themselves Because of course he would.

And if I'm not mistaken, Stephanie had an interview where she put over how good UpUpDownDown is for the company, and the fans that it brings in. And this was while the UUDD creators weren't doing anything, because of the situation with Woods and them feeling the company was f***ing him over. This was also when WWE was trying that Superstar Game Series stuff. Seems like Triple H and Steph are smart enough to realize that streaming can bring in fans. Somebody stumbles across a wrestler's video game stream, becomes a fan, and wants to check out their work outside of streaming.

Somebody stumbles across a wrestler's video game stream, becomes a fan, and wants to check out their work outside of streaming. The streaming thing was a Nick Khan thing, and seemed to be related to the idea that some of them were streaming using their WWE owned name, so were making their own money off an IP owned by the company. That wasn't all of them though, so I'm not sure if they just went overly heavy handed and wanted to control all the streaming and make people do it using their WWE name so they could take their own financial cut, or if the WWE talent contract gives them some kind of 'ownership' over their image rights for broadcast, or if it more that the contract makes them subservient to WWE for all appearances point blank - or if they just blanket banned it because it was difficult to enforce or what. I was hoping someone would challenge it legally, as I was genuinely interested to see what clause WWE had they felt the streaming was breaking and how that would hold up to legal scrutiny. Still, it was a Nick Khan thing and so if they are relaxing it for people, I would assume that means they've found a way to put it in contracts.

It would be nice to hear that Steph was able to talk the "We own everything you do, any income source you can have from anywhere else belongs to us and we'll take it" shit down a little bit on the grounds it's hurting their bids for talent. Vince yb the end seemed ready to just go with anything and not give a shit because he's too out of touch to even understand streaming, and Vince is a man who does not care about things he doesn't understand. Easing some of those policies so they don't keep losing talent would be a good foot forward.

He’s in partnership with Steph and Steph has generally been keeping her finger on the pulse of the company. There are going to be compromises but I think generally with how looser everything is, you run with the good vibes. You don’t got to tell people it is a new era, they will see it for themselves

There are going to be compromises but I think generally with how looser everything is, you run with the good vibes. You don’t got to tell people it is a new era, they will see it for themselves It reminds me of what people high up in TNA like Cornette and Prichard would say about the Carters. Not Dixie, but her parents who held the purse strings and let their daughter play wrestler. They didn't in any way understand the business and took an attitude to it of "What's it matter? We'll just get someone else do it for cheaper" like they were plumbers, because you'll always find some plumber who will work cheaper and put up with anything. Nick Kahn has a bit more show business experience, but it felt like he took on an attitude maybe informed by a lot of modern Vince's attitudes of wrestlers being replaceable, and he enacted some policies that read like "I had this idea, I couldn't get away with it in Hollywood, but in this less scrutinized, less regulated, way sketchier business, I think I can make you money" and Vince only cared about dollar signs. Because what would it matter if the skinny guy who Vince wants to shave and make Keith Lee's manager cares more about playing video games? Nick Khan says we can take full ownership over anything any wrestler does and save money by having Xavier's TV hosting gig be taken against his downside. Vince was disconnected from the talent big time in those final years and he had no reason to care. That's hopefully coming to an end with people who know the business but also aren't on greed autopilot. Papa H is real and he's spent years down on the granular level with talent, even if he doesn't 'get' streaming, he's going to be more keenly aware of what will hurt their chances with bidding for top talent, and he knows that you can't just have someone who won't complain step into that role instead because wrestlers aren't interchangeable. If the policy cost him his guy and now that guy is locked in a five year dear with the other guys, that's likely to play a big part in wanting that policy taken down.

Did the roster need to be shortened down? Yes. Do you feel bad that some people got released during the pandemic? Of course. Sadly that was the case for everyone and not just them. On a level I get it, Braun Strowman making $1Mill a year on his contract nah that can go. Even Bray who only wrestled a few times I understand. It was just the widespread nature of it that was all the wrong cutting people like Joe who HHH brought back and Regal who’s a big key piece in developmental. The biggest knock for the longest was HHH and Vince don’t have the same vision. Well, HHH is the vision now and I can see them going back to something they did with Joe the first time in NXT when he basically signed on for a little while to see how it goes and basically got offered a full time deal off jump. Give some flexibility but allow the roster time to flourish and with Dakota back, you see the favor HHH has already
