My only gripe was that Roman didn't win clean. It ends his rivalry with Lesnar with him never actually being able to beat his greatest nemesis on his own. It makes Brock look like an absolute animal tho. He fought the whole Bloodline including Heyman and Theory and only lost because Roman had help It puts a cap on their feud since Roman did beat him at Mania and now has the Summerslam win in Brocks only Last Man Standing match Like that end sequence, between the intentional object shots to the head and the somewhat accidental ones(ie Lesnar hitting his head on the two belts as they were just...laying on the ground) I lost track of how many usual, "One hit from one of these typically ends the match" spots Brock got hit with. And he kept getting god damned up. Taking the metaphorical "everything and the kitchen sink" as they had to bury him under the remains of the announce area.

If Roman was actually consistently better than Brock he wouldn't have needed any of that. Well his in character reason was him not getting the respect he felt he deserved. WWE rarely seems to acknowledge his reliance on the Usos, preferring to instead focus on how dominant he is in spite of rarely winning clean.

It was so amazing I don't know how to put it into words. I did not want to see Brock Roman for the hundredth time, but they made me eat my words.

You know, historically, I don't like Last Man Standing matches because they usually have the damnedest time pacing the 10 counts, so it often can grind many of them to a halt, but this almost never really stopped, especially once they got to the territory of both of them exchanging 9 counts. And the god damned tractor! Honestly probably my favorite Last Man Standing match, and my pick for best Roman/Brock match in a looooooong god damned time. Man, I had to give it up for the ref. Man stayed ON it, even when it was count after count..

Brock had that ring looking like a WWE2K glitch.

Cole was in rare form tonight without Vince in his ear, and this match was one of his best calls in quite some time.

That was absolute fxxxing bananas.
I despise the bloodline, but that spectacle left me perfectly fine with it ending how it did.

For my money, he looked stronger here than the Cena squash from 8 years ago.

I mentioned it in the main thread but I like that Roman took a moment to hit Theory with the briefcase for good measure. He was already down but Roman still nailed him for the hell of it

It was a good babyface moment for a guy who has been heel majority of his career Brock has always been portrayed like a beast and you got to cheer that on hoping he wins against Roman who needed all the help in the world to win. That match did more to help both men in a very long time

He was already down but Roman still nailed him for the hell of it Roman using the case had me going, "Wait...the defending champion is using the MitB briefcase to help him retain. Isn't that illegal?" I actually was a little worried about the Theory factor seeing how I didn't think Lashley thrashed him as much as I'd have liked, but Brock and Roman took care of that.

It was actually a smart play by Theory He could just cashed into the match like Seth did and make it a triple threat last man standing. With Brock and Roman on their last legs all he would had to do was hit them with weapons but Brock and Roman both took care of him

I last minute got Peacock tonight and I’m glad I did. Helluva show with a truly spectacular main event. Some things didn’t make logical sense to me but I didn’t let it detract from my enjoyment.

Still prefer their WM31 match, but this felt like an Attitude Era main event both in the stature of talents and batshit crazy fun

That was f***ing bonkers lmao. Brock trying to flip the ring was insane. Heyman eating an f5 through the table had me dying. So did Roman beating the shit out of an already unconscious Theory with his briefcase.
Feels like Brock is done, Roman yelling at him not to come back in as such a badass way to send him out. Final boss shit. I’ve never liked their whole thing but goddamn what a way to end it.
