This happened 4/13/92. I guarantee if it had happened EXACTLY 7 days later, Burn would have rolled him up and Mountie's hopes of winning would have went up in smoke. Think about it.

Ray Rougeau I believe had retired for good in 1990. Did he ever wrestle another match? Not sure if he was still working for WWF in some capacity but I don't remember him doing anything between Rumble 90 and around the same time in 1993. RVD was super young at the time, probably 1992 so not surprising he was just used for jobs. He built his body up a bit and got a better gimmick. I'm surprised WWE never did anything with he and Jean Claude given the likeness. I think WCW would sure have if Rob were in WCW. Ray and Jacques did a couple of shots in December in Japan for Tenryu's SWS whom WWF were in a partnership with. That was it for him as a full time wrestler as vignettes for The Mountie started airing that same month. Looking at Cagematch looks like he would still wrestle here and there up through 2003 usually wrestling tag matches teaming with his brother at shows in Montreal. Did find a couple of interesting results though. In 1993 he randomly fought the Brooklyn Brawler at a house show in Florida which I'm guessing must have been the result of someone no showing and him maybe living around there at that time. Also in March 98 in a dark match at a TV taping he teamed with Jacques and PCO in the only time the three teamed together to beat Edge, Tom Brandi, and Shawn Stasiak. He actually started earlier then 93 as an interviewer as there's some clips on YouTube from late 91-early 92 of him interviewing guys promoting house shows in Montreal.

Did Mike McGuirk say "Pensagoda, Florida"? I've never heard of that town.
