The promos are going to be guys who just talk about how they don't remember anything. Each show will shatter records for the number of commercial breaks per show.

I do think that if the Flair's Last Match show was a financial success, Conrad will end up doing more shows, but I can't imagine he'd have the time or inclination to try to do it on a regular basis. Yeah, I could see him running a couple shows a year alongside Starrcast because that’s a logical extension but I can’t picture him trying to get a full blown promotion off the ground.

Ricky Steamboat, DDP and Booker T are just three people who've already came out publicly and said they turned down Conrad's offer to do the one last match thing so maybe he's already struggling to think of the next one. There would no doubt be a bunch of guys who would take the cash but probably the ones who aren't as big names and wouldn't sell as many tickets as the Flair show to make it financially viable.
Most of the big name legends are either locked in WWE or AEW contracts or just wouldn't work a relatively small time indy show. If they wanted to do a big final match they'd call HHH or TK. I'm not sure even Hogan would do it. I don't think he needs the money after the Gawker case.
As others have said, he'll probably just be a super indy that runs a few times a year, piggybacking off of Wrestlemania/Summerslam/Royal Rumble/All Out weekends.

I didn’t know about the guys that already turned Conrad down.
Booker T still wrestles extremely rarely for his own Reality of Wrestling promotion. I’m surprised Conrad even made him an offer. It’s common sense that if Booker wanted a big last match not in the big leagues he’d rather do it for his own company and put the money his pocket than Conrad’s.
As for Steamboat and DDP, to put on a carnie last match that probably won’t be their last match? They’re too honest to take that deal. Well as honest as wrestlers can be anyway.

I think Steamboat seems like the guy who is happy he was able to go out on a pretty great one on one match with Jericho and doesn't want to jeopardize that especially after watching Flair.

Wrestlers having more places to make money is ultimately cool with me, as long as they aren't platforming abusers.

Flair said he wouldn't be surprised if Conrad starts a promotion one day. The more WWE alternatives, the better. I say go for it. If it fails he can just go back to mortgages and podcasting and we fans can go back to a promotion of choice.

he called me a sad man on Twitter, I hadn't even @ him in the conversation, and was talking to a random person about Flair's last match, that is all I can add I only made it about 5 minutes into his podcast with Jarrett recapping the match. It was just straw man after straw man telling people the shouldn’t criticize the match. At one point he flat out says “if you were expecting 1986 Flair then you’re a f***ing idiot”. No, that’s not the problem, we watched a 70 year old man get severely dehydrated, pass out twice and not able to physically stand up. That’s the f***ing problem, it was both terrifying and depressing. It was terripressing.

At the BZ show last Saturday talked to the ref that counted the pin on Flair and his wife.
To quote Dave's wife "I was sure Flair was dead at least twice in the match."

So Conrad's a vanity searcher, nice. I'm not surprised. To be fair Conrad being a vanity searcher is among the least surprising things ever. I remember a while back it came up on this forum. It was in one of the main podcast threads with dozens of pages. Comments were as could be expected in such a thread. Good, bad, and indifferent. Conrad cherry picked a brief misspelled negative comment then Tweeted something about how every forum except one were full of idiots. I hope Conrad has grown a thicker skin since then, but it doesn’t sound like it. Punching down on fans is a bad look.

I enjoy Conrad most of the time, him a Jarrett work off each other so f***ing well, but that cat seems very thinned skinned. Otherwise seems like a good guy, and probably someone I’d enjoy attending a BBQ with, but sometimes you can tell he’s taking criticism way too personally. Which is ironic, considering on yesterdays My World him and Jeff were discussing how “Twitter isn’t real” to essentially say ignore that bullshit and focus on feedback from legit paying customers.

Man their promo episodes for the match became cringe anytime conrad tried to act.
