Man... I was thinking about this. How good would an Owen Hart podcast have been? Just him telling his rib stories would be enough for me, but obviously his thoughts on his matches and the business as a whole. I think it would've been tremendous.

Owen strikes me as the kind of guy that once he was done wrestling, that would have been it for him in the public eye. Then again, it's easy money for these guys, apparently.

Honestly? I feel like public opinion would turn pretty quick once we start to hear about the ribs that are, frankly, appalling to anybody not desensitized by the business

He was trying to get Stu heated to fight… 😂😂😂😂

Honestly? I feel like public opinion would turn pretty quick once we start to hear about the ribs that are, frankly, appalling to anybody not desensitized by the business I haven't heard of many mean ones with him I can recall, like I'm sure there's some, but most of the ones I've heard involved stuff like winding Stu up or trying to make Austin laugh at ringside when he was in his "cannot so much as smile" Stone Cold mindset. Like I am sure he wasn't wholly a saint or anything, but I haven't heard of anything anywhere near as bad as Dennis Condrey tricking a guy into putting his dick in his mouth, or other heinous ones.

Honestly? I feel like public opinion would turn pretty quick once we start to hear about the ribs that are, frankly, appalling to anybody not desensitized by the business Weren't Owen's ribs more innocent? It's not like he was forcing the wrestlers to humiliate themselves from what I've heard. It's hard to say since usually people don't like to speak ill of the deceased. It's like when Mr. Perfect died, all the sudden his pranks were seen as silly and innocent, despite destruction of property and various other things is not innocent. He was also responsible for both Dynamite Kid and Marty Jannetty getting beaten up rather severely, as both Jacques Rougeau and Scott Hall both had cases of mistaken identity. So it's hard to say. Unless you're willing to come forward with admittance after the rib, then it still sows paranoia in the locker room. Many people usually figured it was indeed Owen, but I'm sure other times it was not. I don't think Owen ever formally admitted to a rib. Lawler believes (possibly still believes) that it was Owen who pooped in his crown, so if it it to be believed that he might do that, then it's speculative to believe other things. All in all, ribbing is rather stupid no matter how innocent. It plays on the naiveness or trust of another person all for the amusement of someone who should probably find another hobby. It's one thing to good around with your friends, especially if it's a back and forth kind of thing, but in most cases of ribbing I hear in wrestling, it usually starts with preying on the unsuspecting.

I hate that typing that is making me laugh again.

Bret: Who was that on the phone dad? Stu: Eh it was yer little bastard brother Owen he got me good.

The Hacksaw/Jim Powers joke was funny too. The best one was the free pizza that the lady refused and he got his manager on the line which was Bulldog doing an accent. I wonder about that one though, because the lady sounded very similar to Diana Hart but also a little like Julie Hart so not sure if it's just the female accent making them sound alike.

The only off the top of my head I can say is outright mean was convincing Ahmed Johnson he was booked on the Tonight Show, then having a laugh while he waited on the curb in his suit for a limo that wasn’t coming.

While Sean Oliver is the host, I’m pretty sure it’s still run by Conrad’s company. There was a video trailer for the show with all 3 of them.
