R-Truth should have had a run with the wwe title when he was working his crazy gimmick. It wouldn’t have hurt Cena at all to drop it to him for a bit and probably would have been pretty entertaining. The timing just wasn't right. Cena had to be champion at that point to make the Punk match at MITB mean as much as it did.

I know Shawn has a history of forfeiting titles to get out of jobbing, but didn't his backstage influence start moreso in 95 when the clique was in full force? in 93, he didn't have such power(I don't think). And yes, I'm aware the first time he stopped being champion without losing it in a match was in September 93 due to a failed drug test, but that didn't have anything to do with jobbing. The second time he stopped being champion without losing a match was when him and Diesel couldn't function as a tag team, so as a result they were strip of the tag team belts, but that was moreso to advance a storyline that would lead into their match at Wrestlemania X. The only times I can think of him forfeiting a title to get out of jobbing was in late 95 with the IC belt, and early 97 with the infamous "lost my smile" speech with the World title. If you want to believe the rumors of Undertaker making sure there wasn't any funny business the third time around, he was going to refuse to lose the championship to Austin at Wrestlemania XIV. All in all, HBK can take a brief loss to Tatanka in 93 without throwing a temper tantrum about it. Again, unless there's something i'm missing in regards to what he was like back then. It really started with the phantom Rockers title win. Which, I know is out of his hands. So he failed to drop the tag titles twice, the IC title twice, the WWF title and that joke of a match for the European title he had to win for da nuclear heatz. Well he did lose the IC and WWF title to Marty and Sid, even if it was briefly. You could say it was because they were in his circle though. Did he have any known issues with Tatanka that played a part in him not wanting to drop the IC belt to him?

He would probably want to do it with a one finger pin like Borga. Which is fine as a cap off of some heel move, like if Money Inc smashed a cash register on Tatanka's head or some other major trauma that HBK could pick him off with a superkick or teardrop suplex afterwards. I can totally picture that jiving well with his arrogant heel character.

Ric Rude as WWF World Champ. Studd and Bundy WWF Tag Champs Marc Mero - WWF World Champ (transitional)Wasn't WWF planning this at some point, but then he had a knee injury. And then came back with a stupid boxer gimmick that was never going to work, although he had a good theme song (which is on spotify). He had a great look as the wildman.

Waltman not getting an IC title run with either gimmick just seems....wrong.

Just out of curiosity, did they HAVE to return the titles to The Hart Foundation after Jim Neidhart resigned with the company? Why couldn't they just let The Rockers fill out the remainder of their title reign? They can hold onto it until Wrestlemania VII, losing it to the Nasty Boys, in what I'm sure would've been a fun match.
They can expedite Bret Hart's singles push by having him face, Dino Bravo I guess. Just have a veteran who's on his way out to put over a rising star in The Hitman. Jim Neidhart on the other hand can take on Earthquake in a battle of two powerhouses, with Earthquake coming out on top. Neidhart would then get pushed down the card the same way he was IRL.
If they needed to put the belts back on The Hart Foundation so bad, at least have them reclaim them at the Royal Rumble instead of completely nullifying The Rockers title reign. That seemed like a shitty thing to do. And yes, I was aware of the whole ropebreak thing, but that was just an excuse not to air the match/nullify the title change. If the rope break was that much of an issue, they should've just stopped the match right then and there and not allow the title change to happen. In kayfabe, the referee's decision is always final.
So yeah, I'm going with that.

Paul Orndorff - IC champion Bigelow should've ended Honkeys reign long before it reached the point where Warrior does it. Studd and Bundy WWF Tag Champs This could've been amazing. Studd and Bundy defeat Windham and Rotunda instead of Beefcake/Valentine.

Studd and Bundy defeat Windham and Rotunda instead of Beefcake/Valentine. I can go with Orndorff being IC champion. Just give him the reign Greg "The Hammer" Valentine had. Roddy Piper could've also been a good substitute. Just have him win it from Jimmy Snuka*(who defeats Don Muraco for it for it on October 17th, 1983) in say the Spring/Summer of 1984 before losing it to Tito Santana the next year, who then loses it to Randy "Macho Man" Savage either when he actually did(in February 1986), or at Wrestlemania 2, which would've made the show (at least slightly) better than it actually was. Bam Bam Bigelow might've worked with an Ultimate Warrior-esque push if he stayed, but Warrior certainly was rising in popularity even before he left and I personally thought he was a better option to dethrone Honky(especially with the way he did that) than Bam Bam could've done. I could see Studd and Bundy as an awesome powerhouse team, and given Bundy was over during his WWF run(presumably by proxy of feuding with Hogan and Heenan's endorsement), there's no reason he couldn't have had a taste of gold.

Kurt Angle as WWE United States champion. I know he won the WCW one but still.

Steve Mafugin Blackman should've had more championships, but he was selfless and told Vince to give them to other people. The company was so overwhelmed by his manliness, the WWF was sexualized and the Attitude Era was born.

My answer is Vader never holding a single title in the WWF. I could see him as IC or WWF Champ (since he had US and WCW title runs in WCW). Too bad Shawn was in his way. Hard to believe he never won any title.

Valentine mentioned in a shoot interview that Orndorff was supposed to beat Tito for the IC title but not sure if management felt they could trust Paul at that time so they went with Greg instead.

Hard to believe he never won any title. He could've at least won the tag team titles with Mankind while they were both managed by Paul Bearer. Have them defeat The British Bulldog and Owen Hart at Wrestlemania 13. They can lose them to "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels(like Owen and Davey Boy did) on the May 26th RAW due to a miscommunication between the two(Vader and Mankind) which would coincide with Foley's eventual face turn, so the timing would be fitting.

In the minority on this one most likely: Barry Horowitz and Hakushi should have been tag champs.
