Loved both of them but oh my god Grayson Waller literally winning with SVR 2010 online strats was incredible. When he got the pin I was literally screaming RUN DUDE RUN.

Which is a bit weird because it's not like Hayes couldn't pin McDonagh or Gacy to get a point (presumably Axiom would've been ineligible as he was supposed to be put in the box). I think he tried to do that further down the stretch, but Waller was pulling guys out.

Melo couldn't pin the other dudes cause Waller was running around the ring and dragging them out like LOL NOPE.

Waller is the smartest man to ever compete in a match with a time limit. It'll never cease to bug me that in the Cena / Orton no DQ Iron Man match established chickenshit heel Randy Orton didn't take off running for his life the instant he got ahead in points.

The women's match was enjoyable but the men's was excellent and one of my favorites of the year. Have already rewatched it twice.

HBK mentioned on the press call that Roxanne and Waller will get their title shots at New Years Evil.

Those matches did not feel like 25 minutes, they just flew. When Grayson was running around pulling guys out of the ring I was thinking "There's still about 5 minutes left, why pull everybody out" before it hit me there were only a few seconds left.
Put it in WWE 2K!

I don't know who he is but just reading that he made a logical choice regarding the rules makes him one of my favourites.

I'd like that in the games, but I have a feeling it would have the same problem the scramble matches do of just being unable to get a fall after 3 or 4 people are in.

Sounds like the matches worked out well. Always cool to see a new concept match pan out.

Sounds like the matches worked out well. Always cool to see a new concept match pan out. To WWE's credit, most of the new match types they've come up with lately have been cool. Even that Viking Rules match was way better than it had any right to be.

Didn't have much time today but managed to watch both Iron Survivor matches. Women's was good but the Men's match slapped.

Waller made a fan out of me tonight by shithousing his way to a win.
Both matches were so much better than they had any right to be.

See, I had a feeling that there was a bit of an overreaction to how this match type would be before it happened. Yes the rules seemed convoluted at first, but if you think about it they're not that much moreso than the Royal Rumble. It's just with the Rumble we've had decades of getting used to it...and even then we had a few times that Lawler mocked Howard Finkle about the rules being explained (99 in a heel way, 02 more jokingly).

I thought both were great, but I enjoyed the Ladies one a bit more.
