I see the Cowboys still have their starters out there despite the game getting one-sided.

54-19, 33 points in the 4th quarter for the Cowboys. Its almost like seeing a game of Madden in real life.

Hopefully this message board unlike the US media will have some restraint about the cowboys win this morning. Itβs an impressive win but it only counts for one win in the standings. They beat Washington last season in impressive style and we know how that ended in the playoffs against the niners.

Yeah, it's borderline creepy Thereβs something about CBS announcers, the SEC guys practically fellate whichever team is on top all the time too. I remember Lundquist and the other guy used to choke on Bama. It has to be a CBS directive lol

NFC North Viewer here... ya'll talking about Romo slobbin' all over Maholmes is how we had felt about Favre/Rodgers with every Buck/Aikman/Madden/Michaels/Collinsworth/Romo/*insert announcers here* for the last quarter century. Even when said QB is losing they'll keep on slobbering over them. It was annoying as hell.
Unless you were a cheesehead high on bratwurst and miller lite. Then it was totally awesome.

Brady also got that same treatment and it was sheer vomit inducing to listen to it for 20 years

I agree he's been bad but I'm not sure how much of that is the lack of good coaching on the offensive side of the ball. I'm not the biggest fan of Josh McDaniels as a head coach but he's seems like a decent offensive coordinator so going from him being in charge of Jones development to Patricia and Judge has lead to a predictable back slide. I don't think Jones has that high of an upside but I think he showed enough last year that he at least has enough to become a regular starter in the NFL and Belichick has really dropped the ball by not getting actual offensive coaches in place to replace McDaniel at Coordinator and QB Coach to further his development. It's ALL coaching and play-calling. Mac Jones isn't a bad quarterback. In his rookie season, in which he was immediately thrown into the fire as a week one starter, he threw for nearly 4,000 yards, was 8th in completion percentage, and finished second in Offensive Rookie of the Year behind Ja'Marr Chase. You can see that he's still got a lot of good quarterback in him. He hasn't thrown an interception in 18 quarters of play. He's a good decision-maker, and as seen by his performance on Thanksgiving night, if you trust him, he can make plays with his arm. The problem is, the play-calling by de facto offensive coordinator Matt Patricia has been so ghastly this entire season that Mac Jones has rarely had a chance to show he's still a very capable NFL quarterback. From the moment Josh McDaniels departed for Las Vegas, the Patriots have done Mac Jones no favors - first by hiring Patricia and Joe Judge to be "offensive coordinators," then by calling one of the lousiest, most predictable offenses in the NFL. I totally understand why Mac Jones was frustrated on the sideline Thursday night against Buffalo, and why so many players were venting in the locker room. This isn't the Cam Newton-led 2020 Patriots, which was clearly a bad team. This is a team that made the playoffs last year and should be trending upwards, but bad coaching is dragging them down into mediocrity.

Belichick deciding to not hire a real offensive coordinator and have the job's duties divided between two of his former lackeys who proved they didn't have a lick of imaginative offensive playcalling as head coaches was certainly a choice.

NFL teams: We've almost shut this team out up until 3 minutes left? You know what we should change on defense? Everything. Yeah, that should work.
