With an entire month to go? What if I listen to 'My Humps' 8,000 times in a row in December?
Anyway, looking at my list, I don't have anything from the past ten years on it anywhere, which I'm not sure says more about me or the music industry.

I disagree with most of the choices for me because I use Spotify primarily for podcasts, not music.

Not mine! Seriously, I think because I never listen to music through Spotify and only listen to it for podcasts they didn’t bother putting together a summary for me. On another forum I post at it was discussed how the 2022 Wrapped is supposed to be a personalized video that shows your stats over the year. It includes things like how many minutes you listened to your top podcast. I tried to view mine, but my page looks like this:  Nothing clickable that would be unique for me. Just generic top lists that apply to all users. |

Not mine! Seriously, I think because I never listen to music through Spotify and only listen to it for podcasts they didn’t bother putting together a summary for me. On another forum I post at it was discussed how the 2022 Wrapped is supposed to be a personalized video that shows your stats over the year. I have Apple Music .. who have Replay… while they have improved it a little this year.. still not nearly as good as Spotify’s.
Anyway my most played song of 2022 so far with a few weeks to go: Varuo by Sigur Rós (they toured this year so listened to them a lot)
Also did not do too well listening to anything new and recent, don’t think anything released in the last half decade made my top 100.
But I’m in charge of the Christmas music playlist for the family get together this year.. so that’s gonna mess things ups… I’ll just make sure Fairytale of New York gets some repeated playing so it will look respectable.

My neverending quest to find music that'll help me concentrate on actually doing some work has again ruined my wrapped.
It did put me in the top 1% of Air fans for my phase of listening to Moon Safari until it's effectiveness wore off.
Lorde stood out. Listened to her a lot in preparation for her 3rd album. Listened to that 3rd album maybe twice, wrapped reminded me what a crushing disappointment that was.
Pulp still managed to continue their unbeaten streak in my top 5.

I'm pretty confident in saying I'm probably the only person here whose #1 song of 2022 was "I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixin'-To-Die Rag" by Country Joe & the Fish.

You joke, but I thought I'd have a ton of Eagles songs on my list due to my still on-going Eagles kick, but because it started in November... they barely showed up on the list. If they would have counted November, my list would look different, for sure. I wouldn't say it's totally representative of my year using Spotify in that regard. |

I don’t know about Spotify.. but if you play at least 30 seconds of a song on Apple Music .. that counts towards the play count.

I don't use Spotify, but Youtube does something very similar and it claims I listened to Metallica the most at over a thousand minutes this year, and I honestly do not remember listening to them THAT much lol

Just generic top lists that apply to all users. For whatever reason, the little video only works if you view it on a phone app. Even if you have the desktop program it won't work there. You can just access a music list.
Mine had a couple songs high up that I don't really seek out, they just end up on a lot of playlists I check out.
