He was doing pretty well in NXT as his own thing but since joining the bloodline and being the heavy hitter he has really stepped up. He carries himself well and eventually when this is all over, it will be interesting to see what they do with him because so far his presentation has been money

The anniversary of Umaga's death was Sunday too, so you can't help but notice the timing.

“So, to put heat on Solo Sikoa let’s have him put Matt Riddle on a stretcher using a tribute to his beloved deceased wrestler uncle.”
…OK.

Main Roster Solo doesn’t suck nearly as much as NXT Solo

He has been great so far and has fit into the Bloodline excellently. The guy seemed like a no brainer call up in NXT as soon as we saw him.
I also like that he’s loyal to Sami because he saved him from a chair shot on his Smackdown debut

Solo intimidating the entire opposing WarGames team (sans Butch), for like two minutes before the match began, was one of the best moments of the night. Told us so much about his character.

From the little I’ve seen, he gives off a real 1995/6 Taz vibe, where you’re sure he’s going to just straight up murder someone in the ring one day.

I like them giving him his own personality where he just gets shit done and doesn't really take part in the Bloodline shenanigans. The Spike could be a fun addition, I didn't LOVE how he executed it against Riddle but it makes sense.
Riddle taking some time off is probably needed too, so it helps give him a serious edge.

Naming a guy after a 1996 Mario Van Peebles movie is a choice, I guess.

During his debut match on SmackDown, I thought he was destined to be the Manu to the Bloodline's Legacy, and I don't think I've been this wrong since I said Eric Escobar was destined to be WWE's next big star.
Just, holy s**t does he hit every vibe perfectly. He's big (without even being that big), physical, intimidating, and he casts a presence without saying a word. By standing there, arms folded and mean-mugging, he's got more personality than just about every "imposing bodyguard" character they've ever trotted out and about a quarter of the current roster.

So why did he join The Bloodline after his daddy gave up on then abandoned him? Has that been explained in kayfabe yet?

He comes off like the most badass member of the group and that includes Roman.
Like he comes off like he could very easily beat the crap out of Roman as well if he really wanted to, but is CHOOSING not to.

Umaga came off is this unhinged badass... Solo comes off as a refined, calculated badass. I would've loved to see them both at the same time together.

Solo will be main eventing a PPV one-on-one against Roman within the next year or so. He already has that star aura despite only wrestling a handful of matches.
It's rare that someone comes up from NXT and immediately fares better on the main roster. Elias was one example. Solo now I think is the ultimate example.

From what I've seen, dude has star written all over him. The WWE probably needs to invest in some genetic studies and find that gene that makes this family so damned good at most everything wrestling.

I never not think about a swiss cough drop when I read his name and find he looks kinda funny, but he has a great in-ring presence.
