I loved Goldberg's WWE theme remix in 2003/04. It was completely unnecessary to change it but I think I prefer it over the original WCW version. Similarly, even though there was no need to change his theme at the time I still loved Austin's Disturbed remix in 2000-01 and was disappointed it only lasted a year or so.I won't go as far as to say it's better than Real American but American Made was a great theme and about as good as any copycat version could possibly be. MJF's theme is too generic for a top star. It was fine a few years ago but with his current spot on the card they should get him something better. I never liked the Hardy Boyz theme. Easily still in my Top 5. - Along that vein, “The Kings” by Run DMC is the best version of a DX theme. Better than the og. Better than X-Pac’s rap-thing. - uncle Krackers X-Factor theme wasn’t that bad. Just incredibly jarring at the time lol - Both of Lita’s themes went HARD. As did Essa Rios’ too, actually. - I didn’t get the love for the Deuce & Domino theme. - Hated Taker’s “You’re gonna pay” theme. - “Another Me” > “No More Words”. I’ll go one step further, “No More Words” is WACK. - “I am perfection” is the best Dolph Ziggler theme. It’s hard to tell because it felt he had a million changed versions but one of the earlier ones was the GOAT. Just got worse and worse. - Batistas theme BEFORE “I walk alone” is mad underrated. - Shamrock’s theme was great but..I think it’s a lil overhyped. - Billy Gunn’s “Mr. Ass Man” theme is great. Lyrics be damned. - Steph’s “Welcome To The Queendom” had no right being such a sexy theme. “Do You Smell” is probably the best version of The Rock’s theme. “Know your role (v2)” and up is infinitely better than the “If you smell” versions. And “is cooking” with the intro cut is the 2nd GOAT. - “Burn In My Light” should have made a comeback - Rey’s OG WWE theme was the best. - “Wild Thing” > “Unscripted Violence”. Fight me. THANK YOU I f***ING HATE YOU'RE GONNA PAY LMAO ALWAYS KICKIN ASSHOLE ASSES

I've never liked Hulk Hogan's Real American theme. Don't get me wrong, it fit the classic babyface Hogan character perfectly, but Voodoo Child is infinitely better and is the theme he should've stuck with.

- MJF farty theme is recognizable but he could use a new one as it sounds low rent for a guy of his presentation
- Eddie Kingston AEW theme is dookie butter
- Nakamura heel theme in WWE slapped and I slightly prefer it over the original NXT classic theme

- Always hated Slow Chemical, biggest entrance downgrade in history. - Ditching Jim Steinman for Real American is practically a war crime. - No More Words is too slow and quiet an opening to make for a really great entrance theme. - Jim Johnston's brilliant, but had several instances of generic guitar chugging over a backbeat that could be used for just about anybody rather than feeling tailored to a wrestler. - CFOS don't get the credit they deserve for making several of the most iconic themes in WWE history.

Nakamura's WWE theme is better and has become more iconic to the man than his New Japan theme.
Slow Chemical is objectively the worst Kane theme; when a big scary dude comes out, you don't want to immediately associate him with some guy whining about a woman he's obsessing over.
A lot of pining for the themes from yesteryear comes purely from nostaliga.

- “Another Me” > “No More Words”.100% agree with these. "You're Gonna Pay" is a f***ing awful song. Taker's worst song, and it's trash. "Another Me" is Jeff Hardy's best theme song, and my favorite song that he's made. It's a great song. "No More Words" is just limp in comparison.

90% of AEW in house themes suck and all sound the same.
Impact has always had great music.

I love Bulldog in Jeans' theme with the dogs barking. That riff kicks ass lol.
Modest is my favorite Jeff Hardy theme outside of the classic Hardy Boys music.
I like This Fire Burns way more for CM Punk than Cult of Personality, as wonderful as that song is.
Idk if this is really unpopular, but the original Stone Cold theme "Hell Frozen Over" is much better and more fitting than the "I Won't Do What You Tell Me" remix that came out in 98 that he still uses. The original is just more raw and meaner sounding.
None of Kane's entrance themes will ever beat the original version.
And lastly and maybe the most unpopular theme take I have at the moment.. I prefer the old WWF theme that Ric Flair had over the 2001 Space Odyssey music. I have no idea why.

Kurt Angle's WWECW theme was good too. On the surface it was choppily edited, but there's elements I like too.

All American Boys (The Fabulous Rougeau Bros.) Is EASILY the greatest theme song in wrestling history. Wrestlers badly singing their own theme is a fantastic heel move more should do. Jacques Rougeau, for all his flaws, was the master of that. The Quebecers theme was great trolling too.

They should do something like that for the Ass Boys or Maximum Male Models, both those teams would knock that out of the park.

When AJ Styles and Kenny Omega left NJPW their themes got immediately worse. They Don’t Want None and Battle Cry are alright, it’s more that Styles Clash and Devil’s Sky are badass as f*** and give me that vibe of “trouble is coming”.
The best Triple H theme is King of Kings.
That weird We Will Rock You song Suzuki Gun was using once blew chunks and I can see why they didn’t play it often while active.
Seconding the idea that MJF needs new music, what he has now is too midcardy.
Basic Thuganomics and Time Is Now are good and all but Cena really should have used Bad Bad Man for a theme at some period, that slapped.
The best mix of Okada’s theme is when he had the card game entrance carrying the big sword defending against Goto that one time.
Kenta Kobashi’s Sniper theme >>>> Grand Sword.
Outside of the Jim Johnston Wrestlemania songs (4 through 8 and the Wrestlemania Rap), Ladies & Gentlemen, My Way and Written In The Stars are the holy grails of Mania music.
The Nasty Boys WCW theme is incredible.
Bombshell by Powerman 5000 is THE Dudley Boyz song.

The Quebecers "We're NOT The Mounties..." theme song > The Mountie's "I'm the Mountie" song.
The original was kinda goofy in the same vein as William Regal's "Man's Man" theme, but at least they had a decent singer on it.
After the WWF got pressure from the Actual Canadian Mounties for portraying a Mountie as a heel, they had to clarify that the Quebecers were not supposed to be Mounties so they just updated the lyrics of the original song to talk about how handsome, brave and strong they were because they're NOT Mounties.
Also add in the fact that Rougeau & Ouellet sung the new version themselves, sounding drunk and out of key made this the most effective diss song to a law enforcement agency since NWA's "F The Police"

I think I'm the only one that didn't hate Baron Corbin's first big theme change from 2017. The theme he had before was an extremely generic rock instrumental IMHO, while his newer theme (also an instrumental, which would later have lyrics added and would become the well-liked 'I Bring The Darkness') I liked as a song because it actually had structure.
