I picked Cincinnati to go all the way and I'm standing by that.

It'd be one thing if Mahomes was in tip-top shape ahead of the matchup vs. Cincinnati, but dude was hobbling along after he came back in. A healthy Mahomes goes up and down the field on that overmatched Jaguars D and KC hangs at least a 40-spot with the way they started off. Instead, it took a few timely takeaways to put Jacksonville on ice. The Bengals are far more of a dynamic team, has a better D, and has history on their side at least. If absolutely nothing, the Bengals won't be curbstomping the Chiefs. (All of the last three games have been decided a FG) Should the Bengals win, I'ma need them to go all the way. The last thing I need are those god-forsaken Eagles raising another Lombardi, or the Niners for that matter. Purdy, Kittle and Deebo cool, but... it's the damn 49ers. Mahomes suffered a worse high ankle sprain in 19 that he played through...the next game he threw for 440 yards and 4 TDs.

Just like last season, and the season before that too! LETS RIDE CHIEFS! Nah this is different, a home team hasn't been an underdog in a conference championship since 17. If I recall correctly, that worked out pretty well for the underdog team. *longingly stares at dog mask in closet*

This is the most fun I've had as a Chiefs fan in awhile... Chiefs home underdogs, everyone picking the Bengals. Bengals being super cocky calling the stadium Burrowhead, smoking cigars... people doubting Mahomes..the storm is coming. The odds have been all over the place but the money line in Vegas is strongly I favor of the Chiefs with 55% of bets coming in on them. Nobody is overlooking them

The Bengals were favored then a sports betting agency came in with big money on the Chiefs flipping it back.

My picks went 4-0 last weekend, 8-2 overall in the playoffs.
- San Francisco 26, Philadelphia 24: Again, I continue to doubt the Eagles, a trend that will likely continue until green and silver confetti is falling on the turf at State Farm Stadium in a few weeks. But even though the Eagles played arguably their best game of the season in the Divisional round, and the 49ers struggled offensively for much of their game against the Cowboys, I'm still giving the edge to San Francisco. This is a matchup of the two best teams in the conference, with equal amounts of talent on both sides of the ball, and the edge should come down to Jalen Hurts being better than Brock Purdy and Philadelphia having home-field advantage, but the 49ers overall dominance over their winning streak has me leaning, ever so slightly, toward the gold and red.
- Cincinnati 30, Kansas City 28: This might have been the most difficult pick of the entire postseason. Kansas City has home-field advantage, they're out for vengeance after gagging away the AFC Championship last January, and all the pundits and talking heads have said Cincinnati and Joe Burrow has their number. I was ready to pick Kansas City, too, until Patrick Mahomes got his ankle rolled up on against the Jaguars last Saturday afternoon. He won't be 100 percent on Sunday. He won't be close to 100 percent on Sunday. And if he doesn't have mobility inside and outside of the pocket, the Bengals defense likely won't make the same mistakes the Jaguars defense made. With the least bit of confidence I've had in any pick I'll make this postseason, I'm giving Cincinnati the slight edge to repeat as Conference Champions.

I鈥檓 7-3 overall on the playoffs so far so let鈥檚 make some more predictions(that will likely be wrong) lol:
Both of these matchups are a tough pick and could easily go either way.
SF vs. Philly:
I think that this will come down to whether the Eagles can force some turnovers and wear out the SF defense. They have great pressure and I expect that to get to Purdy and force a few mistakes/rushed throws as the Eagles pull away late. Philly 31, SF 23. That said I won鈥檛 be at all surprised if the Eagles cruise in a semi-blowout either.
Cin vs. KC:
I鈥檓 sure that Mahomes has been getting nothing but treatment on his ankle pretty much every moment since they beat the Jags and while I don鈥檛 think he鈥檒l be 100% I do think that his mobility will be a lot better than many expect. Until the Chiefs actually beat the Bengals i鈥檓 going to pick the Bengals. I say Cincy 38, KC 30 in a highly entertaining game.

San Fran vs Philly. I dont quite trust Philly. I dont quite trust Purdy. *flips coin* SF 34 Philly 30
KC vs Cincy: KC is out for revenge. Cincy has a lot of bravado and has had KCs number. Cincinnati 41 KC 35 (OT)

I picked KC/SF.
I think it's more likely KC/PHILLY.

8-2 thus far as the per-dictions go. Bet the house on it.
Cincinnati at Kansas City I don't know how the Bengals always manage to shut the Chiefs down in the second half of games recently, but it's worked to brutal effect. Lou Anarumo apparently knows what the rest of the NFL doesn't. Mahomes will be on a balky leg Sunday afternoon, but I think his offensive line will hold up to the point where it won't make a world of difference, which is more than I can say for Burrow's. Chris Jones is a man-beast and will likely cause headaches for the J-man. Though the Chiefs don't really have the home run power that they used to have, they're pretty efficient otherwise, what with Kelce, Smith-Shuster, and Phoney. At least two of three of these guys are going to win their matchups against the likes of an Eli Cr-Apple. On Cinci's side, they proved that their defense can tighten up and quiet a high-octane offense like the Bills in the snow and their offense will find a way despite continuous offensive line woes. I look for the three-headed monster of Chase, Boyd, and Higgins to put the Bengals over into the Super Bowl against an exploitable KC secondary. Cincinnati 27, Kansas City 24
San Francisco at Philadelphia There are a view variables at play here as it pertains to Philadelphia. They have a glorious historical propensity for pulling epic choke jobs at home in NFC Championship games. Then again, after the ass-whipping they put on the Giants, maybe they鈥檒l repeat that performance. Only problem is, the 49ers D and the Giants D are world鈥檚 apart. See, the 49ers have the little thing called a pass rush, and guys who can tackle, and maybe even intercept the ball when QBs are under heavy duress. The Giants might be able to learn something from watch San Fran. The Eagles, though, also boast a well-balanced offense and could use heavy dose of run or pass to set up the other. So, C. Ward and Lenoir will have their hands full with Smith and Brown. The 49ers will need to keep the ball out of Purdy鈥檚 hands and into their playmakers. Sure, the 49ers O-Line is better than the Giants Swiss cheese, but the Eagles D-Line is relentless. I鈥檇 expect quick passes and jet sweeps to Deebo, Aiyuk, McCaffrey and Kittle throughout. If Shanahan decides to have Purdy drop back, it鈥檚 gonna be bloodshed. The 49ers also have enough weapons to take advantage of that soft linebacker corps the Eagles have with Kittle/McCaffrey. I also think it鈥檚 high time that Jalen Hurts gets put on his ass about a half-dozen times. Wishful thinking, yes, but f*** the Eagles, though. San Francisco 23, Philadelphia 21

No real skin in the game, just hopi my to enjoy some good football today.
I don鈥檛 that many fans of any teams so I guess for the sake of Mecca鈥檚 sanity I鈥檒l hope KC wins.
I think Mahomes will be fine, it鈥檚 just not very often KC comes across an offense that can keep pace with them.
Kansas City 34 Cincy 31
Super interested in the NFC game, I think San Fran is legit, phenomenal team full of playmakers and they don鈥檛 allow teams to run on them. Smith or Brown are going to go 150+ receiving if Philly is going to win
Iggles 27 49ers 20
