I will grant that, though I am not convinced Roman's actually losing the belt until he's not only been pinned but the show's gone off the air, that did feel like a pretty definitive beginning of the end. Between Sami turning on Roman, Jey walking out, and Roman's subsequent tantrum in response it felt like the Bloodline is on its last legs.

After that, you HAVE to do Sami/Reigns at Mania for two big reasons. -That pop when he hit Reigns. They can’t just not wrestle each other after that explosion of a reaction. -Jey walking out makes Usos vs. Owens/Sami a lot less relevant. That dynamic is totally different now. I mean, it’s pretty logical that the next month will be Jey Uso’s crisis of conscience until Zayn is about to win the world title at Elimination Chamber and he betrays Zayn.

That only made me think Sami needs to beat Roman at Mania even more. Sami/Kevin winning the tag titles doesn't even feel like the right end to the story anymore given Jey is on the verge of turning already. I get wanting Zayn to get the world title as part of this, it’s such a great angle that it warrants it. But it leaves Owens with nothing, and he’s too involved in the story now to leave it empty-handed. I supposed they could do it like when Kofi Kingston got his world title shot, and Big E and Xavier Woods basically gave up their WM aspirations to go all in on Kingston. But I’d still feel bad for Owens. Honestly at this point just do KO & Jey vs. Solo & Jimmy.

And Roman’s reaction? He’s soooo hurt.
He tried so f***ing hard to keep his circle tight after both his Shield brothers abandoned him and it happened AGAIN.
Type of shit that makes the biggest bad guy say, “I’m REALLY bout to enter my villain era now”

Hell of an ending. My only complaint is Sami took way too long to hit Roman with the chair, but the crowd still ate it up anyway.

Probably that and..I wonder if Alvarez was onto something with them possibly bringing in tama tonga and hikuleo.

Haven't heard legit heel heat like that in a min
Still say the bigger match is Sami/KO vs Roman
Sami turning face is nice but he did a lot of shit that should get his ass whooped like KO was just doing

Type of shit that makes the biggest bad guy say, “I’m REALLY bout to enter my villain era now” And I liked the call back to that as well Roman does not like betrayal and it has f***ed him up for years. Sami hit him and he fell the same exact way he did when Rollins hit him all those years ago

Jey only joined up with Roman because he was manipulated by Roman and he lost a match to him. He just saw Sami go through the same thing but stand up to Roman instead of giving in, him being torn by this is great.
Jey just saw his last two years condensed into a few months and he's conflicted by it. Nice stuff.

And the use of handcuffs and a sickening amount of blows to the head might also a parallel another title match in year's past in the Rumble, one that involved another member of the Anoa'i Dynasty.

Sami v Roman has to happen at mania now. That was just such a perfect segment and the story has been gold, I am a little worried that Cody coming in might shift throw the angle of course. But just great.

It's such a weird feeling for me
I LOVE this storyline, I love everyone involved in it, they're killing it, it's enthralling, these are some of the biggest pops I've heard in two decades
But I also loathe Roman's reign and how long it took to get here, and how samey a lot of the matches were too... I think that's fair and justifiable
I think they have something special here, I PERSONALLY am not sold on The Usos vs KO/Sami over Roman/Sami right now because the crowd WANTS Sami to get it, like Daniel Bryan level hunger in that reaction tonight... but I'll let that play out, I'm not set on that being a mistake or anything if they do it, if it plays out right, and currently the stuff's been playing out super well
I would have rather this happen at like day 400 and not 900 of this f***ing double title reign... but it's entertaining as hell, and Sami really lit a fire under the ass of this arc, I'll take it.

This was "YOU f***ING MONSTER" heat. And it was GLORIOUS.

And you can go about it multiple ways Roman can threaten him and say he will never work in WWE again and all his records and work will be erased which causes Jey to change his mind Or, you just have Jey realize he needs to be the right hand man again as he was the first person Roman brought (beat) into the fold

Yeah, like NXT had it with Ciampa with his no music vibe he had going right after his heel turn and the fans booing him into tomorrow But it has been a min since the main roster had it this way

This is all about Jey.
Him walking out makes all of this, absolutely f***ing amazing shit.
Sami needs to win the title. I love Cody but either they both win a title or Sami does. You HAVE to strike now.

Yeah Roman has to lose at Mania. Like I mean it this time. The story has reached that point and the pieces are all in place. You even have Jey refusing to support him now.
And TWO really over babyfaces who could take him down. Time for a fall.
