That woman was in beast mode from the second she got in until she got eliminated. Was secretly hoping she’d win. Great, great ovation. They’ve got to keep that momentum up for her. Even though Asuka didn't win, her mist ended up being the deciding factor of the match, which is a nice rub to get out of the finish.

It’s awesome, she needed a change of pace and it’s a good reminder that she’s what, 1a or 1b of the best on the roster?
If you’re expecting some drastic shift in ring —she wrestles exactly the same as she always has but just with an outright meanness. The paint has never really been a character but an attitude.

It's her best look and she played into that old school KANA insanity perfectly.

She should absolutely wreck Charlotte at Mania and finally put that ghost behind her, even though I have no confidence in that happening, her being final three is promising. I want Asuka to be to Charlotte at Wrestlemania 39 what Brock Lesnar was to John Cena at Summerslam 2014. Charlotte has always said how much she respects Asuka and want to repay how much she has done for her so highly doubt she would be against it

So many spinning plates in this division now, the two dominant champions in Belair and Flair, the top contender in Ripley, big stars like Lynch and Bayley, Asuka with a fresh lease of energy, Morgan proving herself with the co-iron woman run… gotta find a spot for all of them and just hope that the others don’t fall and shatter. Ehh Morgan can kick rocks but yeah slowly but surely everything is being brought up As I said in another thread, they didn't really have much throwback acts besides McCool and while the women aren't getting as many pops, you have to start somewhere to get the fans used to current talent This is the big maturation note for the women's rumble. Just looking at the list, it does seem like there's some NXT filler, but it's still active roster women being called and only one single nostalgia spot. The overuse of returning surprises early on were some rough growing pains for the women's rumble, but they've finally built up to a place strong enough where the rumble doesn't need extreme padding and phone calls to make happen. Not even seeing Ronda on the list and that's a big leave-off. That's That's the kind of stuff you wanna see. The whole thing has finally built itself up to a place where everything is coming together.

There were plenty who didn't know her in that crowd, but she was getting good cheers before her elimination. Meanwhile, good to see Asuka back and in her darker ways. Curious to see where this will all lead to (maybe something for Bianca before Mania since I think Rhea will kill those 60 something days with last minute Judgment Day stuff now that Edge and Beth are back).

I like the match (barely) began and ended with Rhea and Liv, but they could have tossed the latter after she was hit by mist. Then we could’ve had a nice Rhea/Asuka showdown Yeah cause it was kinda dumb that Liv was still just hanging outside the ring while blinded by the mist... it would have made more sense for her to have slipped off after getting misted.

She got a monster reaction tonight.
Even when he booking isn’t good, people see Asuka as a star because she’s charismatic as hell (to say nothing of how great a worker she is).

Yeah, like in terms of big enough notable names they were missing Sasha (Gone), Naomi (Gone?), Rousey (Didn't appear). They basically used almost every woman they had on the roster sans Aaliyah, Scarlett, Valhalla and Carmella You will slowly phase out the Dana Brookes and Taminas out the world but they were able to lean on majority of their own talent which is a good sign. Women surprises are nice but they def needed a foundation sooner or later like this Hell, the men left some good names off like Shinsuke, Dolph, Bronson Reed and kept their surprises to a minimum to with the one true surprise being Booker T

Roxanne was just moving at a whole different pace than the women before her and she instantly started getting cheered. She will be called up sooner than later even with how young she is Rhea I think takes an L to Beth at EC ala something like Steve Austin losing to HHH in the 3 stages of Hell before Mania. Bianca is in a more tough spot. She can really just sit back tho as no need for her to defend her title at EC so give her a TV feud with someone like Mia Yim

She was so over!! Like one of the biggest pops of the night.
The new mask and face paint look awesome. The new music sounds, fine. And she has such ridiculous charisma.
Now use her well Triple H.

I was so worried that the women's Royal Rumble was going to be buried in the middle of the show in the worst way, but it was the best Woman's Rumble in the history of the match by far and in my eyes as good as the men's rumble has been in years. An excellent self-containted build, excellent workers, a good mix of participants through 29 (and then f***ing Nia) that was laid out the best way in the history of the women's Royal Rumble, and integrating cross-gender storylines when it actually makes sense for the women combined to make today worthy of what should be an annual staple at this point.

Corey Graves sounded like he was climaxing when she took the mask off and revealed the face paint.
