Philadelphia will likely win it. No because of Mahomes or anything, but because Andy Reid has a tendency to giftwrap big games to the opposition. I don't trust him to coach two good games in a row.
Only other question is how many Philadelphians will be injured in the ensuing celebration-related riots.

You ever wonder if Jalen Hurts health should be more of an issue than Mahomes at the moment? Since returning, heβs thrown for 504 yards, 2 TDs, and 1 pick in 3 games.
Heβs also only ran for 86 yards on 29 carries. Average of 2.9 yards per compared to 4.9 yards per before his injury.

thinking KC wins I was not impressed at all with Philly last week, they should've destroyed the 49ers and didn't I have no horse in the race, I want a good game with good commercials.... and some WTF ones The Eagles have had a very easy path to the Super Bowl between the Giants not being nearly as good as their record indicated, and San Francisco being a complete non-factor after their first offensive drive. KC is a legit team on both sides of the ball and aren't relying on a 4th string QB (or a 3rd stringer who was physically unable to throw a pass) to drive their offense.
I don't think the game is going to be a blow-out because Philly is a really good team. But this is the first real game they've had all postseason.
The whole season everyone's been saying "They're not for real, they haven't played KC!" Well, there was only one way they were going to get to play KC this year.

I mean in reality the Chiefs are a much more battle tested team, the Eagles schedule by and large even in the playoffs has been a cake walk. They didn't trail in a second half till week 10.. A lot of advance stat kinda point to KC as well. Chiefs offense is No. 1 in EPA per drive. Eagles are No. 2. But difference between them is huge - it's the same as the difference between the Eagles and No. 17 Browns. The Eagles by and large are setup to play with a lead, what happens if they are down by 2 scores? Can they play that style? They really haven't been taken out of their game and had to do anything different all year. The Eagles have also set in really soft shell zone coverage all year thinking that the pass rush will get home and it resulted in things like..the Saints and Cowboys completing at a 70% clip, if they sit in soft zone against Mahomes he is gonna carve them up.

I'm not making an argument about if they're better or not. Just that if they're a bad, fraudulent team because they never played the Chiefs, well, the only way they'd BE ABLE TO is to make it this far.

Ever since I have been a little boy, I always have been a fan ofβ¦(puts a mug in front of my mouth): β¦the Philadelphia Eagles.
(Not a real fan of the Eagles. Iβm a Giants/Jets fan but I will be rooting for the Eagles since they are closer to my original home state. I just feel like making that Simpsons reference.

Siposs looks like he'll be back for the game which is a huge plus because Austin Kearn sucked big time in the Niners game, all his punts were shanked or lame ducks.

If Siposs is back, Philadelphia will have essentially itβs full starting day roster back, minus Derek Barnett. That is crazy. Also, Eagles came to terms for a contract extension with their offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland. Thank God for that! Stoutland is heavily credited for developing Jordan Mailata from a rugby player into a starting caliber left tackle.

Thankfully the worst week in the NFL is almost over. That Probowl to Superbowl week of NFL coverage/reporting/news is a special sort of dire.

LMAO I love how the NFL network dudes just completely give up on pretending like they love their job during their 23rd consecutive hour of pregame about 60 minutes before kickoff. It's actually the highlight of the entire week. It's like:

Man, uh...I have no emotional attachment whatsoever to either the Eagles or the Chiefs, so, I guess I hope both teams just have fun.

I'm not usually the type to root for the heels, but the Eagles are my exception.
Please, let's not lose by more than 14.

My picks went 0-2 last weekend, 8-4 overall in the playoffs.
- Philadelphia 33, Kansas City 27: I've spent the entire regular and post-season doubting the Eagles, and it's about time to admit I'm wrong. Sure, they've feasted on flotsam and jetsam at the opposing quarterback position, but they are stacked at the positions you need to win. Kansas City, meanwhile, comes in with a still-not-100-percent Patrick Mahomes facing arguably the most ferocious pass rush he'll face all season, plus a secondary that is miles better than what he's seen from Jacksonville or Cincinnati. Still, the Chiefs have more than enough talent on both sides of the ball to make this a competitive, back-and-forth game. I just think when a game is close like this, you go back to the roots of football, and you go to a game that is won and lost on the offensive and defensive lines, and I think Philadelphia has the edge in both. If they need to ugly the game up, they can win that way. If they need to go out and put 40 on the board, they can win that way, too. They're a well-oiled machine and it's time for me to pipe down about them.

Philadelphia 37, Kansas City 28
Between the Andy Reid giveaway notion, an Eagles offense that can take their time or hit the big play, the Eagles OL, who move mountains, and the fact that Cheffers and Co. will be flagging Chiefs DBs who so much as sneeze on the Eagles skill positions players, it's definitely not in the cards for the Chiefs in my opinion. Chris Jones won't be shrugging off amateur O-Linemen like he was against Cincinnati on his way to Burrow, nor will Mahomes be going up against an average D-Line like Cincinnati's. Even if he wasn't hobbled, he's going to have a pretty tough time against the Eagles line + the occasional harassment of a Haason Reddick.
If Reid wasn't a stubborn old slob, he and Eric Bienemy would gameplan around their RBs, McKinnon, CEH, and Pacheco, because the Eagles have a pretty tough time stopping the run. The more they run, the more the veteran D-Line that the Eagles have gets worn down throughout the game, lessening the intensity of the pass rush. Then Mahomes would have the chance to do his thing. But I also know that Reid has a personal vendetta against running the football, so he won't use that strategy. Ergo. Mahomes gets knocked around a few times, Eagles get out to a lead. Mahomes tries his damnedest to get KC back in the game, can't because the Chiefs D are being flagged for illegal contact every 7 defensive snaps.
Eagles win. Riots in the streets, 13 injured, 30 cars torched, 220 arrests, Rocky statue vandalized.
