In retrospect, really glad Mark didn't win the Television title now
This is a bigger, better moment for him, and he earned the right to carry this banner.

Happy ending, no rug pull with a surprise beatdown or debut or something, just a nice triumphant well earned win.

I feel like ROH hits a cycle every few months where people clown on it, call the belts useless, call the show a waste of time, and then they put on one of the PPVs of the year and it shows exactly why Tony keeps investing into it, because it's worth it
WBD are just dickheads and won't platform it, he should legit just take it somewhere else after he gets the AEW deal locked up.

Tremendous show. Briscoe winning was emotional in all the right ways.

So f***ing happy for Chicken. I wish it had come under better circumstance but seeing the tears on their dad's and I think Jay's kids faces I love it. And after calling for him to get the TV Title for years I love it.

Roh is good, aew is good, how they fit together is the issue. Anyway happy for Briscoe. And Billie.

I think the issue is ROH goes through periods where the titles just aren't featured on ROH and that's the big problem

Hell of a PPV that was. The perfect ending too, couldn't be happier for Mark Briscoe.

Every match delivered, Athena did a Karlach cosplay, and the main event was a legit feel good moment. 10/10 show IMO

Fun show... except the Dalton/JoMo thingie (can't say it did anything for me, aside from Carthwheel boy) and the fact that Lee Johnson really needs some charisma/gimmick/character/personality to complement his ring skills.

Just got caught up, and good lord I marked out in my kitchen when I heard Gimme Back My Bullets start up.
Seriously, made me time warp to Edison Rec Center back in 2005, knowing the Briscoes were finally coming back to ROH after a long hiatus due to I think Mark being in a motorcycle accident, the opening multi-team tag match starting...and then roof coming off the place when Skynyrd hit and they put themselves into the match.
Seeing it get to come full circle here, on the anniversary of Jay's first World title win, is fantastic. Seeing a bunch of guys from different eras of ROH in the ring to celebrate with Mark was fantastic. Seeing his family still as whole as it can be after what happened over a year ago is the best.
Now, hopefully we're at the point where ROH is going to get to fully become its own thing sooner than later; we still won't likely know for sure what that'll look like until the new AEW media deal is announced, but the weekly show's been strong, the PPVs have been top tier, and getting a moment like that for old codger ROHbots like me was just awesome.
Also curious where Eddie goes from here; he obviously congratulated Mark, but between this and the loss to Okada he's losing both his titles and the height he rose to after the Continental Classic. Guessing he might be going to a pretty dark place soon, but hoping by the end of the year he's ready for a full redemption angle.
