Was hoping they would bring this theme back for WM20 or 30. Maybe 40.

Was hoping they would bring this theme back for WM20 or 30. Maybe 40. I have the same fondness for it as everybody else, but I seriously doubt it. It sounded horribly dated by the time Linda McMahon was using the instrumental of it as her theme in the late 90's and early 2000's. Me and my boy would literally laugh every time she came to the ring with this song playing. Can you imagine how it would sound in 2024? LOL

I just watched that video for the first time in probably 30 years. Some of my takeaways were...
I think the Nasty Boys were removed from the version that was airing on the WWF syndicated shows at the time. I don't remember them being in the video at all. Even though they promised to "shove Nasty down your throats all through '93"... they were gone by February or March lol As a matter of fact a majority of those guys featured in the video would be gone by the Fall if not much earlier. Boss Man, Duggan, Nasty's, Okerlund.
"WWF spells danger". In what language?! 🤣
Also on a semi recent episode of STWW, Bruce says that Simon Cowell got the idea for American Idol from executive producing the WrestleMania album. Bruce really said this with a straight face.

Oh yeah, I still have it. I had it on cassette when I was a kid, too.

It isn’t Wrestlemania week if I don’t listen to this and Slam Jam a few times. I love how Jimmy Jam Garvin’s only contribution to WWE was a sound bite used on this track from effectively an audition and he didn’t even get hired

Oh yeah, I still have it. I had it on cassette when I was a kid, too. I only had a dubbed cassette tape of it. But a few months ago I was in my garage moving a bunch of stuff from boxes to storage bins and came across a binder that had a sticker of the album cover on it which I had totally forgotten about and was cool to see all these years later.

Or that Jimmy had even had a tryout in 92.

Watch his match v Yokozuna... Still blows my mind he was only ever pinned twice in ppv in his whole run I did not know that stat, but I'm not surprised. This is the same guy that squashed some jobber named Steve Austin on WCW ppv in about 15 seconds the following year. Duggan was always super protected. I guess it pays to have BROTHERS!!! in high places.
