Not the Monday Night Massacre I was hoping for, but I'll take it. The Lapsed Fan actually has you covered as they're chronicling the entire Hogan in TNA arc. They just survived Bound for Glory 2010 and are moving on to 2011 where Hogan decides to go back into the ring.

Weirdly enough I'm kind of especially eager for them to reach the weird as hell way they wrote Christian out.

I might give this one a skip. I love the lads, but MEM era TNA is TNA at it's worst for me. Especially Kevin Nash and Booker T. just amusing themselves on commentary and burying everything actually going on on screen.

Eh, Hogan and Bischoff's my least favorite era of TNA, because they openly told people that TNA sucked and every three months kept changing ideas. ...for much of its history, TNA told its audience that TNA sucked, didn't it?

My internet hasn't been working well at home (goddamn trees) so i've been rewatching this era on dvd. Still feels to me like the last year that TNA still felt like TNA (for better or worse.)
There was definately some good stuff there - Beer Money and Team 3Ds feud, the X Division was still fun, the Knockouts, Don Wests heel turn and a lot of amazing matches in between.
Then you had Taz replacing West, Booker T and his silly accents, some overly gimmicky matches, the wrong people winning and Vince Russo at his Russoeist.
And some of those booking decisions were truly baffling. Mick Foley winning a World title would have been bad in 2006 let alone 2009. Joe joining the Mafia was one of the dumbest swerves in wrestling. And why they brought back overweight, farmer tanned, broken and busted Shane Douglas to feud with -REDACTED- Daniels i will never know.
I enjoyed their previous TNA arc so can't wait. Kinda disapointed they aren't reviewing Turning Point and Final Resolution 09 because both shows excellent.

Mike Tenay saying the equivalent of CHRISTIAN CAGE IS GETTING BEAT DOWN BUT KURT ANGLE HAD SOME GREAT POINTS after Kurt told him you're a lil bitch for going up north for MONEY and leaving THE BOYS

Man, if I remember correctly the MEM run was when I got to the point with TNA where I started thinking "how many more chances can I give them?" Might've happened before then, I remember losing a lot of patience with them when Joe finally won the title but had a horribly booked run in the months leading up to the MEM, but this was the last period where I'd watch TNA and try to rationalize weird choices they were making, probably trying to convince myself that it wouldn't turn out shitty or otherwise just strange and confusing.

Not the Monday Night Massacre I was hoping for, but I'll take it. Marky D has covered the entire IMPACT/RAW Monday Night Wars on his channel also, he's even covered stuff beyond it.
