Wrestlemania IX just looked so unique to me as a kid.
Wrestlemania X-7 blew me away with the whole size of it all. Probably because at that point WWE hadn’t held Mania in a stadium since VIII I think. Also loved the big feel of VIII because that’s the first Mania I ever watched.

WM18-24 are a sweet spot for my WWE fandom/nostalgia and for WM settings.
18: Awesome look, just the look of the stage made the event feel massively important 19: It may be nostalgia speaking but the Safeco Field look was so unique 20: Again nostalgia but the last WM at Madison Square Garden 21: I liked the red carpet and the movie marquee that said the matches 22: THE BIG CITY SCAPE SET, THE BIG RAMP THAT LIFTED UP, I also loved the wrestler banners around the arena that was fun 23: Ford Field just looked huge and the unique lighting rig made it feel unique 24: Despite the stadium being a dump apparently, WWE souped that place up to make it look super nice for one of the most unique looks for a WM at the time
This is mostly just me saying how cool the stages are but...yeah that's it lol

(Just tell HBK he can end Tatanka's streak at KOTR or something to get him to drop the title without pouting.) I honestly wonder what kind of (if any) pull Shawn has at this point? Were him and Razor already close? I always chalked this up as cold feet from Vince as opposed to Shawn saying no. Vince had already done 3 DQ finishes for the IC title at this point at Mania and would do it again 11 and 14.

WrestleMania IX: Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Next to SummerSlam 1994, this was my all-around favorite PPV during the New Generation era. I still kind of enjoy it as a guilty pleasure.
