I only voted 1 because I can’t go any lower. That show was absolute ass from top to bottom.
Granted, they could have had every other match as MOTY candidates and that ending would have still earned it a 1. It was just that stupid of a decision.

1. No exaggeration the worst Wrestlemania ever. Only thing I liked was the IC title match. However even that had another champion who never loses winning yet again. The ending was a joke that just made me want to never watch this garbage again.

Doesn't seem like it went over well, which naturally will mean a 2,850,000 rating for Raw.

I'm convinced splitting Mania into 2 Nights is just so they can have a banger night one and lure people in to shit night 2's and remind everyone they're still WWE lol Calling the Sunday show Wrestlemania Number Two makes too much sense, sadly.

Like last year, Night 1 was overall much better, but I still enjoyed Night 2.
Liked most of the booking aside from Asuka losing. Most of the matches were at least decent, too. The nearly immediate Shane injury was great unintentional comedy, and Snoop did a good job just kinda rolling with whatever they had planned early. Brock/Omos surprised in their opener - that was everything it should've been, and seeing Brock thrown around like that made it for something better than the typical suplex spamming stuff. The random women's tag had a few cool spots, but overall I was kinda just waiting for it to be over. Edge/Balor had good moments, and I've never liked Balor's cringe Demon shit, so I'm fine with the result. The color-coordinated weapons is typical WWE overproduction. But hey, we got the silver cell back, and the match was alright in the end even with the brief stoppage.
The IC triple threat was AWESOME. These kind of heavy-strike matches are sometimes a miss for me, but this one clicked majorly. Love the crowd response, too. Gunther and Sheamus did great, but Drew Mac stood out the most to me. The dude looks like a million bucks and makes things look almost effortless out there. I used to never care about him until that babyface turn before the pandemic/Brock match. I wish he was the one to beat Roman over at Clash last year. Speaking of beating Roman, that was definitely a ballsy ending to go with, but I liked it on account of Cody's large ego getting humbled on the grandest stage. However, he is over, that matters, and I'm not sure what their long-term plans are with Roman at this point. I figure they should just let him hit 1,000 days and then maybe end it at SummerSlam? They could go with Cody again, I guess. They aren't exactly overflowing with credible talent that haven't been beaten yet. In the meantime, they can probably pretend the Andre Battle Royal matters and just give a filler title match to Lashley. At least it's not overdone I suppose.
I'd probably give Night One a 9 and Night Two a 7, maybe a 6.5.

1. Holy shit, how was this the same pay-per-view as night one? Remember how back in 2021 the feeling after Wrestlemania night 1 was that the WWE was back and then after night 2 everything flipped? Same thing here I suppose.

The right guy won the main event because the story demands it. Cody doesn't have a story, except now he does. Now, he gets to complete the story. And now, with the proper build, it's a story.

Gave night 1 a 6.5 rounded up to a 7, so this one won't get very high...
Omos/Lesnar was filler. The women's tag was basic tv quality with a rushed ending. Sheamus/McIntyre/Gunther was fun violence, even though the booking had Gunther too much on the sidelines. And to be perfectly honest, lanky Gunther being in the same ring as those two jacked up competitors reminded me how much I miss built-like-a-tank Walter. I didn't pay much attention to Asuka/Bianca, the result felt like a given, and I don't really care for both women. HiaC felt out of place on a Mania card, and I don't really care about the feud. Both guys worked hard, though. Shane McMahon... yeesh. As for the main event, given the fact that every single Cody match puts me to sleep (including AEW), and that I am burned out on Roman's reign, you can guess what I thought of that one.
Overall, almost everyone worked hard, but the booking just wasn't there.
3.5/6 rounded down to a 3.

I'd say maybe 6.5 to 7? The IC triple threat was excellent, I liked Roman/Cody a lot though was amused that even Sami/KO helping out wasn't enough to get Cody over the line. Brock/Omos was fun and Finn was brave to finish off the HIAC despite getting hurt Bianca/Asuka was Bianca's best match in a while but still had some of her usual issues (mostly just being about spots rather than telling a story, not too much in the way of near-falls or emotion), the women's 4-way tag couldn't get close to the men's. Crowd was invested as hell for the IC match and the main but didn't sound as into the show at other points compared to Night 1.

I don’t mind the ending, but it just wasn’t as good as the first night. Omos/Brock wasn’t the car wreck I expected, even if I wanted to see the big man win. The women’s match was a disaster. The triple threat was decent but I’m so bored of Sheamus and Drew so it was hard to get invested. The cage match was ok but pretty silly. The last match was really good and I’m ok with Roman retaining.
And poor Shane. I don’t think I’ll ever get the pure “oh shit” terror in the Miz’s eyes out of my head.

7, would've been a 9 if Cody won.

gave it a 4... a few really good matches... a few... not very good matches... but a few absolutely BAFFLING booking decsions sank tonight.
Leaving the two day manias again with... Night one proof we can do better... and Night 2 but we just actively don't want to.

Between Shane tearing his knee, Ronda winning after not doing a single thing her entire match, then the main event result I'd say it is at least a contender for funniest show they've ever done as someone that doesn't watch the weekly shows/only watches PPVs. That and the IC title is enough to give it a 4 or 5 or something.

Nah Cody’s story extended years back years. He’s been telling it to us the whole time. This is dragging things out just to drag it out. And it was the same boring interference crap that we always get with Roman

Part of his plan was leaving, starting a whole new company to be the top star in and coming back to win at WrestleMania is like 7D chess.
