- Endeavor and TKO Holdings, the new parent company of WWE and UFC, are two companies, not one. You can buy Endeavor stock, TKO stock, or both.
- Endeavor owns 51% of TKO. Vince McMahon owns 16.3%. The rest is owned by whoever else owned WWE stock.
- Endeavor went public in 2021. They could go private again and/or sell some of their assets that are unrelated to TKO.

Wouldn't that be something? Not even two months into existence, and the new combat sports megacorp gets sold not to the Saudis, but the Emiratis.

That is until Vince comes through at the last minute and buys it using the money Endeavour just paid him for WWE.
Gets WWE back, and UFC on top!

Alberto Del Rio will use some of his 500 billion dollar contract to buy it.

I don’t think that was meant to be taken as “The company is literally moving the base of operations to Saudi Arabia”.
If you guys will Vince back into power by CONSTANTLY CONJURING UP FOILHAT WORSE CASE SCENARIO BULLSHIT AND NOT SHUTTING UP ABOUT IT, so help me God…
I hate talking about wrestling now.

It's Ringside News, so it almost certainly isn't.

My takeaway from that was that he meant the new arena was their "new home" and not necessarily Saudi itself. Mubadala, the firm that is working with Silver Lake on this potential deal, is not a Saudi bank or anything.

It's Ringside News, so it almost certainly isn't. Also, they just built a new f***ing HQ in Stamford, right? The one with the giant belt out the front? Why bother building that if they were going to move to Saudi Arabia? And wouldn’t they have to report something like this to stockholders? Probably in a big press release and not in some rando interview while in town for a boxing match? Just…use a bit of common sense and maybe just go with the possibility that Vince was doing some bog-standard PR shit.

The dude looked half-dead on a red carpet after what was surely an annoying ass flight to get there given his current physical condition and age. I wouldn't really take anything the dude says or does at face value these days.

There's some specific context to the Vince quote and to the exact situation around it. Saudi Arabia made a demand a few years ago that's fast approaching its deadline that any company that wants to keep a government contract with the Saudis needs to move their regional operations to Riyadh. It's a demand that targets companies exactly like WWE, whose Middle East operations right now is centered in Dubai. It's all higher-up business politicvs and trying to compete with the UAE, and a western company like WWE that has a lucrative government contract is going to have the eyes on them for that sort of thing. Reaffirming that loyalty in advance of their own upcoming Saudi show is just a step in that process.
Now, if the Emiratis buy out their parent company then that is going to change everything ever, obviously. The quote Ringsidenews is using is real, but it's from a red carpet interview with MMAJunkie where Vince is puffing up the thing the nation's government is paying him to puff up. It's not a statement of true intent.
